Manufacturing Update December 13, 2018

Good afternoon family. This supplemental update is a to let you know what’s come back from outside finish, and general information regarding holiday shipments. The Team received the polish, titanium and copper/bronze back over the past couple days.  

Holiday Delivery Update

All holiday delivery requested orders which we have received back from finish (anodize, powder coat and polish) are on schedule to arrive in time for the holidays. Next week we will essentially be working round the clock to get these orders engraved, assembled, inspected, packaged and shipped.

Last Shipping Day Before the Holidays

The last day for shipments for holiday delivery will be next Friday, December 21st. Anyone shipping the 21st we will be arranging to have your packages delivered via UPS or FedEx overnight service, and or USPS weekend and holiday delivery express mail.

Finishes to Return from Outside Suppliers

We do expect to have the following back next week and completing all holiday requests from the following:

• White from 12/10
• Red Anodize from 12/4 (no matte)
• Blue and Matte Blue from 12/4
• Black Anodize from 12/4 (no matte)
• Lime Green from 12/4

Non-Holiday Delivery Orders in Out for Finish

The bulk of the orders in these batches currently out for finish, are holiday requests. However we have non-holiday requested orders in these batches so that we could ensure the color remains consistent on these orders. With that said everyone who sees their order number as coming back, and did not request holiday delivery, your order should ship before the end of the month.

Holiday Schedules for Supplier Partners

The week of December 24th and all the way through January 1st many of our supplier partners for plate, polish and powder coating are shut down for the Christmas and New Years Break. We are going to try to get another round of powder coat out early next week for a quick turn around and possibly add to the blue and black that is currently at anodize so we can get those items back before our awesome supplier partners shut down for the holidays to spend time with friends and family. We will of course keep you all updated.

Satin Catch Cans are available for Holiday Delivery

Finally if you need a satin catch can any style shipped out for a holiday delivery please contact us immediately so we can get that assembled and shipped out. On the December 10th update we posted an inventory table. We are continually running cans and do our best to stay ahead of the demand its the time to debur, assemble, clean and package that goes along with that and the ever present need to have supplies of hose, fittings and hardware coming in on a just in time basis too.
