Manufacturing Update February 18, 2020

Welcome BT family and welcome to the newbies doing due diligence on our company, prior to placing an order with us. The Manufacturing Updates are our way of keeping our current customer base informed on any manufacturing delays or when we are scheduled to run parts. It’s a place where we announce new products, re-introduce old favorites, make last calls, and retire products to the BT Vault. Thank you always for checking in here. With that, let’s get started.

Blue and Matte Blue

We sent a round of blue and matte blue out today. So head on down to the table below and see if you order is in the batch that went out for plating.

Orange and Clear are Back

We also received the orange, matte orange, clear, and matte clear anodize batches in. We have already started assembly, get the catch cans ready to ship. The under hood pieces that need engraving in these batches are in the shop for final processes.

If you have a catch can only order we will have that out in a couple days. If you have parts in your order which require engraving please allow us 7-14 days to get your order completed, and on the way.

Coolant Tank Covers

We are wrapping up the last wave of coolant tank covers. Those of you with plain (no engravings) satin coolant tanks that have not shipped yet, you should start seeing your tracking details by the end of the week.

Those with colors, we are hoping to have red out by Friday, with all other finishes to come out every couple of days until we have everyone accounted for. All orders as this morning’s batch are being filled off this third, and final, round.

If you have a custom engraving expect us to have you shipped by the middle of March. This includes all colors except the factory color match. We do have coolant tank inventory on the shelf for new business.

BT Valve Covers

Before we put the BT Valve Covers on for the last run (and then retire them back to the vault), we are going to to put some quick jobs on that back machine. The valve covers will go on the machine the second week of March.

We have material scheduled to come in the week of March 9th. As soon as we get it we will begin that last run.

If you are thinking about ordering a set of valve covers, now is the time. Shipments in satin will begin near the end of March. Colors and polish in April, and once sold out we will not be scheduling another run of them.

It will be the end of an era for the foreseeable future because we have new products that we want to launch.

One-Off, Custom Work

One-off work is really taking off here. So if you want to do a true one-off custom fabrication order, and willing to wait for the best, then call us to discuss. We will arrange for a consultation, collaboration, and estimate.

When we build we are no different than many racers out there who send their sleds off for months and sometimes over year or more. Ask us about it. We have been there. Our race truck has been gone 15 months. It returns this week, ready to be a 1320 hero again.

Good work takes time. True one-off custom work, and fabrication, even more so. You will be working with the best of the best, who will have your best interests at heart 100% from start to finish.

Low Stock | Manufacturing Statuses

The following products are low stock, and in manufacturing now to fill any back businesses, and get inventory back on the shelf.

We are shipping partial orders for our customers that may have multiple line items on their invoice and lack a few items that may be in production now. Be assured if you see your package show up missing an item check the order comments. We notate any partial shipments there and let you know what we still owe you.

Fuse Boxes

Fuse boxes all all styles are in manufacturing, including the fuse box covers for the 2019+ Rams.

PCV Covers

These are running currently.

HC, Demon & TH Water Necks

Hellcat and Demon thermostat housings are running with the new Trackhawk water neck. These are on the machine again after we completed the repair to our Mazak late last week.

Satin orders will be shipping by early next week, with colors heading out for finishes, also starting next week.

Supercharger Coolant Reservoir Covers

Hellcat Supercharger coolant reservoir covers are on the machine, with satin finish parts starting to ship again the week of February 24th.

That cover is sharing a machine with another project and we are only running them a few hours a day. So expect just a little more of a delay past our mid February original target date as we get them manufactured and stock fully replenished.

Devo Strut Covers

Material is here. Once we wrap up the thermostat housings for the Hellcat, Demon, and Trackhawks we will put these on and get them knocked out.

We should have inventory replenished the last week of February with colors and polish heading out in early March.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days of ordering.

We got our black fittings back from powder coat yesterday, and are wrapping up assembly on last week’s satin cans now. Any of you that are in “waiting to ship status” on those, you will see your tracking details within the day, two tops.

Have an Event Coming Up? Let Us Know!

Before we go, as we mentioned last week, there are a couple big events in March and April. If you have an upcoming event, and you have put a request in to us to have your pieces completed, we have you covered with the exception of the factory match colors.

We should be good there but we cannot guarantee the factory color matched orders will make it. We are going to do our very best to make that happen for you guys and gals (the redline red pearl should be ok on the factory match). All other finishes we are good.

Any requests made after Friday of this week for (especially) Spring Fest, we cannot promise you, but will do our very best to make it happen.

Satin parts yes. Colors will be on the bubble after this Friday. As the events draw nearer, we will stay in close contact with you all.
