Manufacturing Update June 17, 2022

Good afternoon BT friends and family. We are back with a fresh update this afternoon. Always Team BT sincerely thanks all of you for your support and trust.

Fathers Day Sale

We want to wish all the dads out there a Happy Fathers Day weekend. We have a couple fun things this holiday weekend for our amazing dads.

Inventory Update

We do have some inventory updates today for you. As we have mentioned in past updates, we are running into issues on materials now for some sizes and availabilities. We are working around these problems with either shorter manufacturing runs, staggering them as material becomes available, or yes, having to push some dates back from when we had planned on putting a particular product in for a production run.

PCV Covers

We have run a small batch using what material we could get. We have most open orders covered. We have another material drop for this product scheduled to be delivered right after the July 4th holiday so we can get every open order covered and get some on the shelf ready to be finished to your specs.

ABS Covers

Pretty much the same as the PCV Covers. We were able to run off a limited supply. Next material drop will be in between July 6th – July 8th. Those covers will go right back on a machine to get everyone covered, and put a few on the shelf in machine satin read to finishes moving forward. We currently have 3 in satin machine finish, and one in orange on the shelf.

Fuse Box Covers (all styles | all years)

Fuse box covers are a top seller here, and yes, we are having some issues with material drops. We have worked with our supplier Alro Metals to arrange drops on Wednesdays over the next 4 weeks so we can keep up with the orders coming in, and to replenish what goes out to you guys and gals. The first drop arrived this morning.

2005-2010 Throttle Body Covers

We are out of stock, and have not started the next production run. Our material delivery has been pushed back to the week of July 4th or early the week of July 11th. This will be the FINAL manufacturing run on the 2005-2010 Throttle Body Covers. We will retire them to the BT vault when they sell out.

Coil Pack Covers

Material will be here late next week and first cuts will start that day. We have enough material to complete all backorders and a few extras for stock.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days from the day you order.

This week we received a replenishment of nickel fittings, black powder coated fittings and standard brass fittings. Getting fittings is also becoming an issue for us. We have that situation covered and will begin manufacturing our own fittings in July. The supply chain on the brass elbow fittings is really scarce right now and speaking with our hose and fitting supplier it will remain that way at least through the end of this year.

Again Team BT is adapting to this change to keep the product supply chain moving here.

Colors In, Colors Out

Folks we had several batches of colors come back in as well as go out since we last visited with you. This week we received the bathes of Standard Black, Standard Red anodize and Octane Red Factory Color Match. See the tables below the article for details.

Plum Crazy Purple went out and along with batches of Matte Black, Matte Red, Blue/Matte Blue, Jazz Blue, Lime Green Metallic Powder Coat and Yellow. You can find the information for those batches in the tables below.

Factory Color Match

On the paint match side the B5 Blue, Smoke Show, F8 Green, and Redline Red are completing at paint now. B5 will be first to ship next week.

Color Lead Times

All anodize and powder coated finishes are taking 7-15 days from the day we send out to completion and back to the BT facility. When we receive items back from outside processes please allow us 7-10 days to complete any final engravings or customizations on your orders.

When in doubt of if you have an upcoming event and you see our order is back just call us so we can get you moved up and shipped in time for your show.

Folks that’s going to do it for today. Everyone have a great weekend and again Happy Fathers Day to our dads. Some of us we no longer can pick up the phone to say I love you pops. Keep that in mind and appreciate the time you are able to spend with your pops this Fathers Day weekend.
