Manufacturing Update September 10, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. As always, our team thanks you for your generous support. Let’s dive right in, and get everyone up to speed on what’s going on at the facility, here this the second week of September 2020.

Colors Back from Finish

Today we received the Lime Green Metallic back. Yellow, F8 Green, and the B5 Blue will be back tomorrow afternoon.

We have included the B5 on this update today as the items were just wrapping up on that finish when Nick Billet picked up the F8 earlier.

Family we apologize to you for not having those orders on any of our updates in August. Operating with only 3 of our 10 person crew for several weeks, posting those table batches just slipped through the cracks. Many of you called in for updates, and knew that the batches were out. That’s why we always say when in doubt reach out and call (561.582.6171) or email us.

Sometimes the old “loose nut behind the keyboard” applies, and we do miss things in these updates. Our goal as always is to be transparent with you, and deliver the quality products that you have come to expect from us along with good information.

Color Batches That Went Out

We sent out batches of orange, and matte orange, as well as purple, and matte purple anodize. White, and racing red metallic went to powder coating today, when we picked up the finished batches this morning.

Color Batches On Deck

For those of you contemplating placing an order, and you follow our updates doing some due diligence the next batches of parts going out for finish are:

• Titanium and Matte Titanium: Going to anodize Monday, September 14th
• Machine Copper and Matte Copper: Going to anodize Monday, September 14th
• Red and Matte Red: Going to anodize between September 17th and the 21st
• Black and Matte Black: Going to anodize between September 17th and the 21st.

Inventory Stock Status

We do have a few items to address stock status wise. We will have all product’s stock statues up to date on website by close of business tomorrow. Most are already up to speed. Always, when in doubt about a product, and it’s availability, just reach out to us.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tanks will be on the machine middle to late next week. We should have satin coolant tank covers ready to ship again the last week of September / First week of October. We will then have inventory on the shelf to carry us into the 4th quarter, and the holiday season.

Power Seat Control Covers

We sold out of Power Seat Covers over the Labor Day weekend. The next manufacturing run on those will be the first week of October. That date may move in, or out, a week, but we are pretty much locked in to get those on in the next two weeks.

Hellcat / Demon Coolant Reservoir Covers

The material is here. We will get those on as soon as we wrap up running z brackets, which will be early next week.

Coil Pack Covers

Material will be here any day, and we will get those started before the end of the month.

While the valve covers have been retired back to the vault, the coil pack covers will remain in rotation. We will have inventory on hand after this run to carry us into the 4th quarter, and into the holiday season.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans we have one can from August 30th in the assembly queue, along with all cans from September 1st to September 8th clearing assembly, and moving into shipping. You will see these orders in “ready to ship status”.

There are over 100 satin catch cans in that date range. Please allow us a couple days for the lovely Andrea to clean them all up, and hand wrap them like fine china, as she always does.

After your order moves to “ready to ship status” tracking details are usually uploaded within two business days, or sooner.

All satin catch cans are shipping within 1-4 business days.

Shop Visitations and Local Pick Ups

Family, we will start allowing visitors to come back to see us starting on Monday, September 21st. We had originally planned to start allowing folks to come back to see us next week, but we feel an extra week is smart, just to be on the safe side.

Our crew members are recovered, or recovering, from Covid which swept through here during that six week time span from July into August. While we do deep clean daily, we won’t endanger our health, or yours.

We miss our BT family coming to visit, and over the past year we have had so many of you come to see us. It’s been great fun to meet people who had no idea we were here, or what we did.

Nothing gives our group more pleasure than to have our customers come in to see the shop, realizing the “big picture”, and just how many parts are actually moving through this facility on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Local customers you can come to the receiving lobby, if you like, to pick up your packages. We will ship them to you free of charge if you were planning on coming to pick them up, and can’t.
