Manufacturing Update July 7th, 2017

Good morning everyone and welcome to July. We hope you had a enjoyable holiday weekend this past 4th of July.  As always we appreciate you and your support.  We have some things to cover in this update so will get busy and get started.  

Show Season

We are in the heart of show season and we are extremely busy and we are extremely thankful to you for that.  Please, if you have an event that you are attending and need an expedited delivery please call us and let us know so we can work to your schedule. We have several orders we are wrapping up for folks that are going to Carlisle next that we will be completing in time for the event.  If you are someone on that bubble will be staying in touch with you and of course feel free to email and or call us.  Every package will ship UPS Red overnight delivery to those of you that we have been working with now through the 13th even if we have to send your package to your hotel for a Thursday or Friday delivery to you.  

Blue, Purple and Clear Anodize

We have received the blue that went out on June 7th, the purple back from June 12th and the clear anodize from June 16th back in our facility today (July 6th).  We are assembling all catch cans off those batches and parts are moving into the engrave Que. for any final processes needing to be completed there.  Please allow us 7-14 days if you order requires engraving from the time we receive it back simply based on volume.  

A Note on Colors

Remember you are only seeing the color items that are coming and going in these manufacturing updates, however we sell a lot of satin machine finished products not only on catch cans but on our under hood pieces and those pieces are continually being routed to the shop floor for final processes prior to final inspection and packaging.  We do keep a two week window on lead-time for satin and may go out a bit on those items because of the work load. We have plenty of product here on our popular setups.  

Colors Still Out at Finish

Currently at the present time we are still waiting for more matte black to come back in, titanium and standard semi gloss black to come back.  We will be getting delivery on those colors all through the next week.  We have more clear anodize, green, all matte finishes, orange, and more purple getting sorted and ready to go out for finishes in the next week to ten days.  Please call or email us with any questions and of course keep checking for the latest updates right here we will keep you informed.  

June 12th Red Anodize Batch

If you follow along with our updates you know that we had a large batch of red go out on June 12th.  Due to a dye issue we have 14 catch cans from that batch of red that are being delayed.  We have posted a table of those orders effected here, and have started to reach out to each customer individually about that problem and what we are doing to help offset that issue there.  First and foremost it is our number one priority that you be 100% satisfied with your BT items.  Fortunately we work with great outside suppliers who share our commitment and passion for excellent results and done right.  Will get all these orders back on track that have had to be stripped, and also that entire lot of red from June 12th back in house as soon as possible.  We did send more red out today to add in with the batches of orders already out at finish since to get ahead of the curve on both older items and new orders.

As stated above we are in good shape product wise on most everything we carry we are just under tremendous work load at the moment and with the vast majority of what we do has a custom twist thus why we keep everything in blank and build to a “just in time” schedule.  As you can see based on our prior updates we have posted it’s not unusual for us to be sending 50, 60, 70 or more orders out for finishes in batches on colors alone.  Satin orders equal or surpass those numbers and we greatly appreciate you as we work to bring you the best of the best.  Can’t wait, don’t want to wait, we understand that and as we state here on our website, in the various links both on our updates and in the footer we want you to be happy first and foremost and sometimes that won’t be with us.

Low Stock Items

We do have just a few items where we are low stock on here those products are and the estimated time we will be running them again:

Door Lock Kits

Door lock kits we have very limited supplies and when we say limited we mean limited. Chances are if you ordered a kit recently you won’t see it even in satin until the end of July.  We should be making another run of these that will usually last us until the end of the year sometime the week of July 17th or at the latest the week of July 24th.  

Hellcat Thermostat Housing

Hellcat Thermostat Housing aka water necks are sold out. This is probably one of our most successful launches of a product. Amazing response from Hellcat owners.  We have a few that still need some custom work done and some designer cuts but many of you are seeing these now either shipping or at your doorstep.  Will be making another run of these the week of July 31st.  We may move that in

Store Inventory

Everything else we are ok inventory wise and all products reflect currently inventory status as being available or back order on the site.  We do have sets of valve covers and coil packs in limited supplies too.  

2005-2007 Fuse Box Covers

2005-2007 owners we also have the fuse box back up for ordering.  We will be running a limited number of quantities before the end of the month then that’s it until sometime next  year again.  We do listen to your requests to bring retired products back and we also are entertaining bringing back some interior favorites done the right way not the cheap way based on your feedback so please stay tuned.
