Manufacturing Update April 1, 2022

Happy Friday BT family, and welcome to the weekend. Team BT will be in the shop this weekend getting work in, however the in the office or answering phones. We have a bunch of parts we need to wrap up engraving on, as well as a bunch of catch cans to assemble so we can ship them out early next week.

As always our team remains humbled and grateful for your business and trust. Today’s update is going to be brief, so let’s get started.

Gmail Issues

We still are having Gmail issues. We can see your inbound emails but some of our replies are being bounced back to us. Call us if you are not getting a response, or if your outbound mail is getting sent bak. We are sending emails to you guys and gals from our secondary gmail account to reach you.

This has been a painful data migration and we are hoping that its finally resolved within the week. All other inbound and outbound mail we are having no issues.

Color Batches In

The matte black and black anodize is back in. We also received the racing red metallic back just as we are about to go live on today’s update. We will get started on those orders and get them into the shop for final processes. Check the tables below to see if your order is back.

TorRed Update

One important thing we want to address is the TorRed. We had it back in a few weeks ago, and man what a disaster.

The parts shipped, and the carrier said they tried to deliver them, which was not the case because we were here when the supposedly delivery was taking place.

Packages went back west to painter as return to sender. The parts sat for a hot minute in Jacksonville before going back to California.

We finally have them here now after, I think it’s been, 3 weeks and we are on those items now. Shipping on the TorRed orders has priority. We will start shipping orders beginning on Monday and all through the next week to 10 days.

Thank you friends we were extremely worried the almost $30K in parts had gone MIA, but all is well that ends well there. This is why we insure all our packages because you never know.

Factory Color Match Update

Plum Crazy, Jazz Blue and Sublime will be wrapped up out at CCF next week. We should be receiving those orders late next week, or the week of April 11th.

The Octane Red and B5 Blue are at CCF now and still a couple weeks until we get those orders back.

Redline Red, F8 Green and Destroyer Grey orders are bundled up and will be going west to paint next week. If you have an open order we will have it out towards the end of next week.

Anodize Batches Up Next

The next anodized orders on deck will be orange and matte orange, standard black, standard red, and blue and matte blue anodize. we will drop these batches off with our plater probably Wednesday of next week.

Final Processes

Friends just a reminder when we do receive our orders back from outside finishes, the team checks the items, does a count to make sure all pieces are there, and then lastly, a quality check.

Any items that require assembly are routed in to the assembly queue as well as any items needing engraving go out into the shop. Non-engraved items ship within 2 days after we get the parts in.

Once we do the check-in, in preparation for shipping, final charges on any outstanding balances are completed, if you paid via credit card. When we do that your order will move to “Pending To Ship Status”. Expect us to ship your order within 7-10 business days when this takes place.

When your order moves to “Ready To Ship Status” the order will be shipping within 1 business day.

Inventory Status

We have a few stock status updates to inform you on.

Coolant Tank Covers

The big coolant tanks sold out on March 30th. A couple weeks ago in our MFG Update we told you we are having issues getting certain sized drops to run these as we run ours. The last cover came off the mill yesterday.

We do plan to do another run on these in May. We have an order in for material to run an additional 30 covers so we can get some inventory on the shelf. We will keep you posted. Anyone contemplating ordering one now we encourage you to give us a call to discuss and get a better feel for when we will be able to run these again.

We ran over 700 covers the past 66 days. Just incredible that all have sold. We are simply blown away, thank you all.

3mm Wheel Spacers

Another product we had a run on this week was 3mm Wheel Spacers. We had 24 sets on the shelf when we started the week. We sold our last set yesterday.

We will put get another run of these on at the end of this month.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Strut Covers also sold out this week. We have orders material that is due in on April 13th. We will be putting those on the lathe the week of April 18th.

Fuse Boxes

Fuse boxes all styles are starting to ship in satin, and going to finishes. We will be running them all this month to get caught up and put inventory on the shelf for new business.

Satin Machine Finish Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping right around that 5 day mark from date of ordering. We have plenty of stock.

Our vendor partners are placing restocking orders for the spring season.
