Manufacturing Update July 18, 2024

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to July, we are half way through the month at that. First and always our team appreciates all of our customers and friends for your continued support and trust.

Sorry for the Delay

Apologies for the delay in between updates. The team has been super busy, and it’s that time of year where our small crew has vacation days. A lot of our time as been spent replenishing stock and taking care of day to day biz. As always we appreciate you. Factory Color Match

Folks we want to start by addressing the factory paint match issues. As you know there have been lengthy delays on color match paint orders.

The biggest issue we are having is paint peeling. Peeling is occurring as we engrave, and also after the parts are on the car.

Until we can resolve this we have removed the paint match options, with the exception of TorRed as that particular finish is powder coated.

We will be bringing back Octane Red, Sublime and Plum Crazy Purple as soon as we receive our powder coated samples back from our coater, and as long as they are matches, or close enough to an exact color match.

The painted parts we are taking every preventative step possible and that includes a chemical bath, or a chemical conversion coating. This process ensures that the parts are completely stripped of any coolant or oils from the machining process. Then the painter sands them and the pieces are ready for primer.

The peeling is not happening on all the parts, just enough where we simply cannot risk sending anymore parts out to customers until we have a resolution. The last thing we want is for you to get your BT bling then a couple months down the road you pop the hood and you see the paint is peeling.

This is not happening because people are using any type of paint thinner or stripping. Nick here at BT has been emailing people individually with open orders so we can work with you.

In the meantime on the paint match we did send the last of the Redline Red Pearl as that too is also a powder coated option. You will see those orders on the out for finish tables below. Everyone with an open Redline Red order is covered. We will no longer be taking new business on that color. Any questions please give us a call on that.

Colors In & Colors Out

The batches of Polish, Standard Red anodize, Yellow and White powder coat from the last update are back in the shop.

Since the last update we have sent out batches for Polish, Redline Red powder coat, Clear (Standard & Matte), Standard Black, Blue (Standard & Matte), and Titanium (Standard & Matte) anodize.

All of these batches are back in the shop and going through final processes. Folks as we have mentioned several times on our social media pages (Facebook | Instagram) we are extremely backed up in the engraving queue. Please be patient, it is well worth the wait.

Custom Colors

Want do do your own custom color? You can! We do this all the time (and we do).

The process is simple:

1. Buy our satin machine finished parts.
2. Have them finished at your preferred shop, in your own color.
3. Send them back to us for engraving or your own custom theme

Inventory & MFG Runs

Moving on to stock statuses we have replenished and restocked all the under hood caps (oil cap radiator cap, washer cap, oil dipstick, brake fluid cap, etc). We have lots of orders that went and came back from finishes, and all satin machine finish classic style BT caps are shipping now. We have inventory on the shelf moving forward in satin machine blanks

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers are on the machine now to replenish stock and fill backorders.

We also have several sets of custom coil pack covers that are back in from finishes. These will be getting engraved along side this manufacturing run while we are setup.

If you have been thinking about doing a set now would be the time to order. The next run will not take place again until sometime in late October / Early November.

Throttle Body Covers 2013+

2013 and up throttle body covers are also being manufactured now. We have a whole bunch of these on order and all back business will be covered with inventory moving forward. Satin machine finishes will start shipping late next week with colors starting to go out for finishes.

Throttle Body Covers 2005-2010

We have stock on the 05-10 Throttle Body covers and we are shipping them. That was the last run on those so when we run out of inventory on those they are being retired to the BT Vault. Call with any questions or email us on those model years.

Water Necks (5.7L, 6.1L & 392 Hemi)

Water necks for the 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L 392 Hemi are restocked again. We are shipping satin machine finishes daily and colors are going out for finishes now too.

Track Hawk & Durango Hellcat Supercharger Coolant Caps

Track Hawk and Durango Hellcat S.C. coolant caps are sold out currently. We will be doing another manufacturing run in early August. This will carry us until the end of the year .

Sigma Series Oil Caps

These are sold out. We will do another manufacturing run in August that will also carry us through the end of the year.

PCV Covers

PCV covers are sold out. Next manufacturing run will be the second week of August. We have plenty of PCV Caps.

Fuse Boxes (All Years / All Styles)

We are engraving and shipping those daily.

ABS Covers

We are engraving and shipping those daily.

Catch Cans

Satin machine finished catch cans we are shipping within 3-5 business days.

If you need one shipped in satin machine finish the next business day after ordering please let us know either over the phone or in the order comments box when checking out.

Coolant Tank Covers

We have plenty of coolant tank covers in stock with satin shipping daily, and colors going out for finishes several times per week.
