Manufacturing Update August 9, 2019

Good afternoon all and welcome to the weekend. Time for that Friday afternoon MFG Update.

Turnaround for Color/Polish

We did not send anything out today for finishes, as we are just now starting to get the next wave of parts ready to go out for colors and polish. We did get back the racing red metallic. Our finishing partners are killing it with the turn around times. We appreciate their hard work, and solid efforts, in enhancing the already best in the biz surface finish that we produce here at BT. We are getting a two week turn around time (on average) now when we send our parts out for finish, and they look amazing.

Folks, things can fluctuate, our partners get busy too and the one thing we will never do is rush them or expect them to rush and compromise the quality of the products.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Please remember when you see your items have come back in from outside processes, please allow us 7-14 days to complete any assemblies, or final processes such as engraving, prior to shipping your items to you. If you see your oder has come back from finish, and it’s getting close to an event you are attending, please call (561.582.6171) or email us and we will do all that we can to get your parts to you asap. While, we can’t guarantee delivery, we can guarantee our best effort to get your parts to you when you need them.

Low or Out of Stock Items

We will cover some stock status since its Friday. Check below to see what’s low, or out of stock, and an ETA to MFG. Things are subject to change so when in doubt give us a call (561.582.6171) or email us, and we will help you, as needed, on a one to one basis.

2005-2007 shifter plates:
As mentioned on the July 30th update, we will make another run this month, and it’s looking like we will put them on a machine sometime the week of August 28th.

Coil Pack Covers:
The material has been ordered, and we are looking tentatively at the 3rd week of August to start the next run. This may change as we have had the middle machine down off and on for the better part of a week. We are working out some “gremlins” in that machine.

Hood Prop Covers:
Prop covers are running, and we will start getting satin machine finishes out of here later this month. Folks we appreciate you. Some of you guys and gals have been waiting a while, and our lathes are tied up on other business.

The primary reason we post these updates is for issues such as this, where we have to make a choice between two runs, and one product suffers while we do that. This helps you determine, as a consumer, if we will be the right choice for you on that item or not. Information, and communication, are of the utmost importance to us, as is building a quality product.

Hellcat Coolant / Demon Supercharger Reservoir Covers:
These will be on the machine the week of August 26th. Even though material is here, we are pushing that back a couple weeks to work on the fuse boxes first.

Ram, Durango and Jeep Fuse Box Covers:
The MFG run will start late next week, and will be on the machine for approximately two weeks, and run concurrently with 2010-2014 Dodge Challenger Fuse Box Covers.

ABS Covers:
The material is here, and will go on a machine late the third week of August.

Sigma Series Oil Dipstick:
We are sold out. As mentioned in the July 31st update, we had low stock. ETA for a late August manufacturing run is still on the board here.

Hellcat / Demon Oil Dipsticks:
These are currently running, and we will get them completed per our target schedule sometime next week (mid August). Some delays may occur on current orders. We will ship out partial orders where customers have this piece, as well as any accompanying pieces on order with us. We do not hold your shipments up we send what’s ready.

PCV Covers:
PCV covers are in stock, and shipping in satin again. Colors are out for finish, and more going out next week.

However, we are low on PCV Caps. If you are adding the cap to the part. Next run on those will be later this month.

Manifold Baffle Covers:
These are sold out. We sold the last one this week. We are going to try and get quick run of those in this month, but it’s looking more like early September before we can get them on a machine.

Hellcat / Demon Valve Covers:
Yes friends you read that right. Production will start in September, and we will be showing you the final product, as well as the matching coil pack covers, shorty so stay tuned. You guys and gals will absolutely love what we already know from behind the curtain.

Satin catch cans:
Satin finish catch cans are shipping daily. All orders through August 8th are assembled, have shipped, or are in shipping now.  Check those inboxes for your tracking numbers.  Current turnaround time for shipping satin cans in 1-5 days with the exception of Hellcat / Demon cans we just used the last bracket in assembly this afternoon and have more going on the back tooling mill Tuesday morning.  Shipping on those cans will resume last next week all other engine types not effected.  

2005-2007 Fuse Box Covers

We still have half dozen 2005-2007 Fuse Box Covers for sale off the May Group Buy. ,All orders from that group buy are either out for color, have shipped, or are in the shipping queue. Lots of custom engraves in this last round. Thank you everyone for your support.
