Manufacturing Update June 27, 2023

Good afternoon BT Family and friends. Welcome. As always our team thanks you for your amazing support and trust.

As we wind down the halfway point of 2023, suffice it to say it’s been challenging to say the least. First and always we thank each and everyone of you for staying the course with us as we navigated the choppy waters.

Factory Color Match

Very good news on the color match paint front. We starting to see things moving now quickly. We are sending small batches out with turn around within 7-10 days. So in lieu of in and out tables, if you have a question about your factory color matched order, simply call (561.582.6171) or email us for an update. These batches are moving quickly, and posting tables in our Manufacturing Updates is too slow (no pun intended).

Prime example is Octane Red. We have had multiple smaller batches go in and out since our last update with many of those orders already shipped. Presently we have smaller batches of F8 Green, Octane Red, and Frostebite Blue and Indigo Blue which were sent out for paint.  Some of those orders and are already back in here being engraved and or shipped.  

Colors In & Out

We have colors both in and out since the last time we visited with you earlier this month. We sent out batches of Standard Red, Orange (standard and matte), and Racing Red Metallic which were sent out, and are already back in house.

We’ve also received the batches of Racing Red Metallic, Standard Black and Matte Black back in house. The team is hard at work getting these parts through final processes and into the shipping queue. See the tables below for details.

Batches On Deck

Our plater is closed for vacation until late next week as they always do for July 4th as well as Christmas/New Years week.

We have a batch of Purple (standard & matte) and a big batch of Blue (standard & matte) that we will send up for plating right after July 4th.

The pending purple table is not on today’s update as we are still getting parts gathered and bundled up, but will appear on our next MFG Update. The Blue table can be found below and will be dropped off on July 6th NLT July 7th.  

Inventory

Stock status is in pretty good shape on most of our popular items.

Catch Cans

Catch cans in satin are shipping within 3-5 business days.

Need your satin can to ship the next business day after you order it?
If calling in let us know over the phone or if ordering online drop that info in the comments section, and we will handle the rest for you..

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tank covers are in production. Shipping on all back orders will start in July. Satin will ship first, and colors will start to go to finishes all through the month of July.

ABS Covers & Fuse Box Covers

ABS and Fuse Box Covers run neck and neck with the oil catch cans as our best sellers. We are running them continually and ship in order of receipt.

We have colors always going out for finish all month long and we have a lot yet still to do.

When in doubt on where you stand in the manufacturing process or the engraving queue give us a call for the latest information.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil Packs start the manufacturing process next week after the mini July 4th break.

Hellcat Bypass Valve Cover & Throttle Body Covers (all styles/years

These will also begin manufacturing next week after the July 4th holiday break.

Sigma Series Radiator Cap Covers

Sigma series radiator cap covers are scheduled to go on the machine for manufacturing the week of July 10th.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Strut Covers are also scheduled for manufacturing the week of July 10th

Equipment Update

As we have mentioned in several updates this year we have had some of our production operation hamstrung by lack of electronics and components available to us to have our equipment operating to full potential in easy to understand terms.

Presently one of our Mazaks is down again waiting on a retrofitted hard drive and software upgrade. ETA on arrival for that is “sometime in July.” Unless you have been living under a rock you know electronics and chip shortages are still a very big problem world wide. We still need a servo board for our Mazak Nexus but do have a work around to keep the machine running.

It’s these issues that we have been dealing with since literally late last year that have caused delays in some of our manufacturing processes. We value communication and transparency when speaking to all of you. We appreciate you staying with us as you always have during these past 20 years of the BT Brand.

July 4th Holiday Schedule

Folks that brings us up fast to next week, and the July 4th holiday on Tuesday.

Your BT Team will be breaking for the holiday with our last day of work being Thursday, June 29th.

We will return at our usual time on Wednesday July 5th with chips flying at 5:00 A.M. Sharp and phones live at 6:00 A.M. Eastern Time.
