Manufacturing Update November 26th, 2013

Happy Thanksgiving week and Happy Holidays to all of friends and customers.  We are extremely thankful to all of you for your generous support and most importantly your trust.

We have a lot to get to on this post countdown manufacturing update so lets get started.

Order Status Emails

Every open order in house should have an order status email in your inbox before Thanksgiving.  All orders have been sorted and routed with many in process and shipping daily.

Order Deposits

All countdown orders that have not shipped yet we authorized and charged the 30% refundable deposit to begin work  this morning (See How do I Pay For My Order and your invoice copy for those details).

We reauthorized the balance of those orders as well so if you used a debit card and see a “charge” this is only an authorization hold and will drop off  in a few days.  If you have any questions at all regarding this please call us.

The Holiday Season & Outsourced Services

The biggest issue we are going to run into now with the holidays upon us will be outside services.  These processes (color, polish, powder coat) may lag with our vendor partners shutting down over the holidays.

We will keep you all updated over the next few weeks on how this may impact you and your open orders.

Christmas Delivery

Anyone who asked for a Christmas delivery we will be able to start letting you know late the second week of December on whether or not that is going to happen.  We will ship partials orders as necessary to get BT Products under the tree in time for Santa’s arrival.

Product Status & Availability

We are in great shape with all products even coming into December with only slight bottlenecks.

Out of Stock Products

Below is a list of the products we are 100% Out of Stock on.

• Challenger Shift Inserts are 100% sold out.  All orders placed through November 26th are covered.  We will not be running these again until late January 2014 so please keep that in mind if you are planning on placing an order or have interest in this product.
• 2008-2010 Fuse Box Covers are 100% sold out.  Many orders are ok and in process but all post countdown are on back order.  We will start manufacturing these again towards the middle to late part of December.  Unfortunately we can’t get those on any sooner due to other commitments that have run long but we will get those on as soon as we can.
• Strut Covers both styles are sold out with several back orders coming into the holidays.  We will run strut covers again mid December with shipments to start by the end of December and into January until all orders are filled.
• Manifold Baffle Covers are sold out. All orders placed through November 25th are covered and will be filled.  Orders after November 25th you will be looking at mid January to start delivery.
• 2013 & Up Throttle Body Covers we we have most folks covered and will be filling the these in order or receipt.  If you have any questions concerning this please give us a call.  We should have everyone current in early January.
• Waternecks are sold out.  We will be running these again in late December.  If you have questions concerning an open order you may have please call us.  We do have most folks covered through November 22nd.
• Lumbar Kits we do not have any more stock.  We had enough orders come in during the countdown sale to justify one more run.  We should have all kits filled and shipped by early to mid January.  Please call if you have any questions.  After we fill these orders and ship we will discontinue this product. If you have interest in this product and don’t own it yet place your orders soon as this product is retiring
• PCV Covers we will run those per schedule on this new product in December with delivery to start end of December and into January until completed.  Please call with any questions.
• GTO Catch Cans, GTO owners who have ordered a catch can we are running your brackets now so we can start shipping again by late in the 2nd week of December.  GTO owners we have more group buys that will open up in January.
• Valve Covers and Coil Pack Covers we will start machining in late December with delivery to possible start on satin before the end of the year, but best bet is delivery to take place in January 2014.  We have limited spots left for folks to order valve covers on this next run so get your order in quickly.  The next run will not take place until April 2014.

Lead-Times

Please keep in mind that we do have a 20 Business Day Lead-Time on color and polish items. We are going to go over that lead-time right now on some of our products.  Most of it will be scheduling with outside vendors as stated earlier in this update.  We realistically have a limited window to get in all the color for the year.

We are getting as much stuff out to outside processing services now and will not be able to send any colors out again until after December 18th.  A major haul of both color and polish was delivered today with more that is outside and going outside for outside services daily.

If you have a color or polish order in house and want to get a current up to the minute status report please give us a call we will get you the most accurate information on the day you call and will make every effort to get your order to within that 20 business day lead-time.

With the holidays and the two week shutdown at the end of the year for many of our vendor partners the 20 Business Day Lead-Time window is going to be out the door.  Please know your BT Team is working 18 hrs per day and Saturdays to keep the manufacturing flow smooth to build not only current products but replenish into the new year.

We have some surprises and new products in store for everyone late December and into early January so stay tuned.

If you paid for your order with Paypal please keep these lead-times in mind and CALL us before you dispute your payment.

In the event of a disputed payment prior to contacting the BT Team we will refund your dollars and cancel the order.
