Manufacturing Update August 20, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Friday, and to the weekend. Because it’s Friday, we have a brand new update to bring to you. The Engrave Queue is on Fire

Folks we have a lot of product still in here being engraved on the swarms of colors that have come back in over the past two weeks. Most of the under hood kits are in shipping today. A lot of custom orders are finishing up right now, and will be shipping soon.

Pending to Ship & Ready to Ship Statuses

Folks many of you if you are logging into your account may be seeing your orders in ‘pending to ship’ or ‘ready to ship’ status. ‘Ready to ship’ status will ship within the day. ‘Pending to ship’ are in the queue for packaging.

Just as we reported over the past several updates, we have a bunch of stuff buttoning up on colors that have come back in.

There are also satin machine finished items in the assembly and shipping queues. Those satin machine finish parts never make these updates because our parts are kept in blanks and ship out usually within 15 business days.  This is our number one best selling finish.  

Please allow the lovely Andrea the time she needs to hand wrap your orders with care, and have them out the door to you. Most of the pending orders are catch cans in assembly. We have 717 units now that are sold in various finishes coming out to Andrea to ship.

Trackhawk Water Necks

Trackhawk water necks in satin are shipping. Colors have have started to go out, and we will have all back-orders shipping within the next 15 days.

Some of those are long in the tooth, and we appreciate each and every one of you for your business, support and trust. We have inventory on the shelf in satin again and colors ordered now are back on standard lead-times.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers are starting to come off in satin machine finish now. We have a few orders that missed the spring manufacturing run, and they have priority.

All back orders in satin will start to ship the middle of next week, colors will start to go the week of August 30th.

We do have limited inventory on the shelf for new orders (7 sets unsold). We will do another manufacturing run in October in preparation for the holidays. So if you are someone who comes in to take a look, doing some due diligence prior to ordering, this should be of help to you.

Fuse Boxes and ABS Covers

Fuse boxes and ABS covers will begin the next round of production and restocking next week. We will update you with more details in next week’s update. As always call (561.582.6171) or email us for one on one help or updates.

Satin Machine Finish Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping around the 7 business day lead-time.

If you need us to ship your catch can (in satin) the next business day? Just let us know on the order comments (if ordering online) or if you order by phone let the friendly BT rep who is helping you know and we will handle it for you.

Titanium is Back

We got the Titanium (both matte and standard) back on Wednesday of this week and have started to get the catch cans that are stand alone orders into assembly and shipping. We also moved the under hood pieces that need engraving into the shop to be completed.

Many of the titanium orders were custom engravings and they are good ones too! Be sure to check in on our social media pages, especially Instagram where we keep the feeds lively and fun.

Octane Red

Very good news for all our you who have been PATIENTLY waiting on the big batch of Octane Red. Yes we will finally have it back at our shop middle of next week. The parts are on the way from our great vendor partner out in California and look fantastic from the photos sent along.

If you are on Instagram you will be able to get a sneak peek of a few of the pieces that were just being wrapped up.

We appreciate our partners very much. The Octane Red will have highest priority in final processes as soon as we have it back here in our shop.

Just a Little Patience

Family be patient is all we ask. If you pay attention to the news you will see stories with companies having issues getting help, supply chain issues etc. At our shop our crew has been together for years, the elders in the bunch we have worked with each other for 25 years and in my case (the boss) Neal and I have worked with each other for 33 years. The youngsters, who are not so young anymore, have been here for more than a decade and are related to us by blood or close family friendships.

We too are hitting some roadblocks getting certain things, as we discussed that in the past couple of updates. In these times as supply chains tighten etc, we will communicate with you honestly and transparently. We will never compromise our commitment to the best quality product in the aftermarket. Yes we say it confidently no one else comes close from a competitive standpoint on similar items.

Batches Still Out

B5 Blue, Jazz Blue, and Polish are still out and yet to come back in. We should be seeing those batches come back to us before the end of the month.

Colors On Deck

A batch of Plum Crazy Purple will be going out for finish on Monday so next week’s update will have those orders heading out.

We also have a big batch of Racing Red Metallic ready to go up on Monday and Tuesday.

Batches of Black, Red, Blue, And Clear Anodize will be going out on, or before, August 30th.

TorRed, Redline Red, Destroyer Grey and F8 green batches will be going out on, or before, September 3rd.

Matte Black, Matte Red, Orange, Matte Orange, Purple, and Matte Purple batches will also go out on or before September 3rd.

We will keep you up to date with any changes, and tables when these batches head out.

Colors Out

We sent another big round of Standard Red and Black Anodize out this week. The good news is that those batches will be ready for pickup on Monday afternoon. So if you see your order on the “out table” for red and black today, many of you will start seeing your tracking details before we post next week’s update.

We also sent out a batch of Yellow to powder coat. That batch will not be back as quickly as the red and black anodize.

Next Week: BT Family Fun Day

Speaking of next week’s update we will be posting next weeks update a day earlier on Thursday, August 26th; because on Friday, August 27th we will be having our annual BT Family Day. As such we’ll only be at the shop for a few hours on Friday morning.  

The last two years we had to postpone our fun in the sun. Last year was due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and in 2019 we were preparing for Hurricane Dorian which fortunately made a turn at the last minute and spared us from taking a direct hit from that Category 5 beast.
