Manufacturing Update December 10, 2021

Welcome everyone, and thanks for checking in today on the latest MFG Update from Team BT. We have quite a bit to cover so let’s get started.

Holiday Delivery Requests

First, for all of our customers who requested a holiday delivery, prior to December 2nd, we have you covered with something (in most cases all items) to put under the tree. Most of the holiday request that we received all the items are filled on those orders.

There may be or two pieces that may not make it but we have noted that on your order. Rest assured you will have BT Bling to put under the tree for your loved one, or family member, this holiday season.

Satin Machine Finish Holiday Requests

For those of you that ordered satin machine finished items and requested holiday delivery we have shipped several orders already. Any remaining holiday request orders in satin machine finish will be shipped in time to ensure your loved ones have bling under the tree.

Fuse boxes in satin holiday requests for Chargers, Challengers and 300’s will definitely make it in time since we are running them now.

Holiday Delivery Color Match Batches are Out

All the factory color match (paint) holiday requests have gone out. You can find them on the tables below, along with other orders that already had partial shipments and needed miscellaneous parts to complete the order.

In regard to the factory color matched orders with holiday requests, we have spoken to our painter and let him know we need those orders back here no later than December 17th. This will give us the time we need to complete final processes, and get them out the door the week of December 20th.

It’s going to be slammed family but your BT Team, and our awesome vendor partners, are gonna work hard to get it done for you. We are already doing 18 hr days here at the shop, and working weekends to keep things moving.

Batches Out (& In)

We also sent out batches of standard black and red anodize, along with blue, matte blue, orange and matte orange anodize. Holiday requests are on all those tables. The batch of blue (standard and matte) is done and will be picked up today, we will see the rest of the anodize back next week with all holiday orders receiving the highest priority.

The batches of matte black, racing red metallic and the two TorRed batches from November have come back in, and are in final processes. Please allow us time to finish any engraving, assembly, quality control, packaging before we send these parts out to you. Batches Still Out

While we are on colors the following batches are still out and we will be seeing those back in our facility in the next 10 business days:

• Redline Red coming in week of December 20th
• Octane Red coming in week of December 20th
• F8 Green (picking up Monday 12.13.21)
• TorRed picking up late next week (between December 15th and December 17th).
• Smoke Show (shipping back to us Monday and we will have it back at our facility on 12.15.21).
• Yellow Powder Coat (due in any day now)
• White Powder Coat (due in any day now)
• Indigo Blue late next week or early the week of December 20th.

Stock Statuses

We have completed our inventory assessments here and have the following to report:

Fuse Box Covers (2012 and up Chargers, Challengers and Chrysler 300’s)

As reported last week, we sold out of those during the People’s Sale. Good news is these are on the mill. We will have all back orders covered and product on the shelf moving forward for new business.

Satin machine finish, without engravings will start to ship on Monday, December 13th. Satin machine covers with engravings will start to ship late next week.

Fuse Box Covers (2017-2019 Jeep, Durango and Ram)

We have moved up the material drop to arrive late next week and will get those on a machine the week of December 20th.

Delivery in satin may start to go again before the New Year, but expect us to hold to our January delivery time table.

Devo Style Strut Covers

We have 14 back orders as of the launch of this update. Material delivery has been delayed by our supplier until Tuesday, December 14th. Satin machine finish we have to push out a week until the week of December 20th to start to ship

Coolant Tank Covers

We have a heavy load of these to do again, and this is the only product that will be running the week between Christmas and New Years. The last week of the year is a heavy maintenance week here we basically perform an overhaul on our equipment. We do this twice per year once right before July 4th and again at the end of the year.

We have 151 back orders on coolant tanks. One mill will be running that last week of December and we will probably double up and move to two mills when we resume post holiday operations on January 3rd.

These covers will be shipping all through January and we have a ton of custom orders. We will be manufacturing 200 covers and we may add to that depending on the demand through the remainder of the month. This is one piece that is well worth the wait. It’s not cheap junk, it’s a precision machined, hefty chunk of billet.

Uni-Strut Covers

We have 42 Uni-Strut Covers on back order. Just as with the Devo style strut covers our material delivery has been delayed by our supplier until Tuesday, December 14th.

We are going to try to get these in before the end of the month. However it looks like we will be pushing the manufacturing back to early January 2022.

Hellcat Thermostat Housing (Charger & Challenger)

We are sold out of these water necks. These won’t get on a machine until early January.

Trackhawk & Durango Hellcat Thermostat Housing

Material on order and due in next week. Will get started shortly after the material comes in. If anything changes we will post up.

Manifold Baffle Covers

These were a surprising big seller over the holiday sales events, and sold out. We won’t be getting material for these until after the holidays. We will run them again in January.

There is always that one product that surprises us during our end of the year, big sales events; this year was it Manifold Baffle Covers. These sell in spurts, not a big seller year round, but enough get sold through the year that we have not retired it to the BT Vault.

General Under Hood Parts

As far as the general under hood caps such as the washer fluid caps, radiator caps, oil dip sticks etc., we sell a bunch of these each and every week and we continually are replenishing inventory to avoid any major delays (longer than usual for us that is).

We will always send you a partial shipment in cases where we may be missing a certain under hood cap or cover and we know it will be a couple weeks before we have the missing cap back in. We do notate that on your invoice copy when we send your packages out as partials.

Satin Machine Finish Catch Cans

Satin machine finished catch cans are shipping at the 7-10 mark. Holiday requests have been shipped and/or are shipping.

Order Statuses

It is extremely busy here folks. This is maybe the busiest holiday season we have ever experienced. We also are having some issues on materials etc., but we are finding a way to work around those issues. Our vendor partners are also working hard through the challenges in the supply chain.

Due to the volume we are pumping through here right now, please remember if you see your order as ‘pending to ship’ please allow 3-5 days for us to ship it. It may be sooner than that and usually is, but rest assured your order is completing final processes, and getting ready to ship.

When you see your order has moved to ‘ready to ship’ status, you can expect your tracking details to be in your inbox within 24 hours.

Shipping Carriers

Folks we are staying mindful of the major carriers and their shipping cutoff dates for Christmas delivery. Below you can link in to USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex and view that information.

Team BT is using all carriers this holiday season to keep packages moving to you. Remember once it leaves our facility it is out of our control. The proverbial “caca” happens at times, so we kindly ask you don’t beat up the messenger here if your package ends up going to the North Pole and back several times over.

It’s gonna get there in nearly ever single case. The folks working at the carriers are working hard too. We see our regulars on their routes daily and they are busting their tails off to get it in. Please remember that too.
