Manufacturing Update December 17, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Friday and welcome to this week’s Manufacturing Update. We are going to keep it short and sweet this week as the holiday rush to completion is in a full frenzy here at the shop.

Color Batches In

We received a bunch of stuff back including the orange, matte orange, black and red anodize. We are picking up the yellow batch from the powder coater today. Please be sure to check the tables below to see if your order has returned from color.

On these batches which have returned, or getting picked up today, there are holiday delivery requests that are being worked on now so we can get them shipped for the holidays.

Colors Out

We also sent some smaller batches out to red, black, purple, and matte purple anodize along with plum purple powder coat (close to Hellrasin).

The vast majority of parts in these batches were for out of stock items needed to complete partially shipped orders or orders in final stages of completion here at the shop. Most are for fuse boxes and throttle body covers.

All of these will be back early next week with the exception of the Plum Purple Powder Coat. We won’t see that back until after Christmas as our powder coater is shutting down on the 23rd, and will remain closed until January 3rd. They have kindly informed us that it just doesn’t look good for that small batch to be ready in time for the holidays.

Color Batches Still Out

The following batches are still out:

• White Powder Coat:
  It’s been a hot minute on that batch and we should be seeing it back Monday or Tuesday. There are holiday requests in there and we will get those orders and parts in to assembly and engraving so we can get them shipped out the door.  Fingers crossed we get that in here on time.  
• F8 Green from November 1st:
  This batch is in the final stages at our painters and we should be able to pick that up Monday or Tuesday.
• Octane Red from December 1st:
  We do not expect to see that until right after the holidays. Probably the first week of January.
• Indigo Blue from November:
  We expect that the last week of December or the very first week of January.

Please be mindful these eta’s back to the BT facility are based on direct conversation we have had with our vendor partners and could change. If they do we will of course give you the latest information available to us when you call (561.582.6171) or email us. We also will do one more MFG Update on Wednesday December 22nd and report back at that time too.

Factory Color Match

The Holiday Factory Color Match orders that were on last week’s update (December 10th) are not back in yet, but we do expect to see them early next week. If we have them here by Tuesday we will be able to complete those orders and ship them one or two day air for December 24th delivery.

Express Mail also will deliver on December 25th, (see USPS for details) and we will mark any orders we ship express mail for holiday service.

If we see those orders in here on Wednesday of next week we should be able to get them wrapped up and shipped in time. Of course please call in any time for an update and check back on Wednesday, December 22nd when we post our final MFG Update prior to Christmas break (noon on December 23rd).

Inventory Update

We will do a complete inventory recap and update for you on MFG Update right after the Christmas weekend on December 28th. When in doubt about stock status on anything call or email us.

Remember our items are kept in satin machine blanks. However, we do have random colors here on the shelf all the time due to cancellation or customers failing to pay for their orders etc. call (561.582.6171) or email us to check stock anytime.

Fuse Boxes (cars)

Fuse boxes for Charger, Challenger and 300 are replenished. Satin machine finishes are in packaging this morning. Colors started to go out this week, and will go on a steady basis each week until we fill all back orders.

ID Plates

ID Plates are back in stock and heading to colors on all finishes.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Struts are shipping in satin machine finish again. Colors are starting to go out to our vendor partners to be finished right after the Christmas weekend break.

Power Seat Covers

These sold out this week, next MFG Run in January 2022 (no exact date yet will narrow it down after Christmas).

Shipping Reminder

Please remember folks once the package leaves our facility we are not in control of it any longer. From our vantage point we can tell you our UPS Drivers, FedEx Driver and mail carriers are busting their balls to get things done. Each provider comes to our shop several times per day to make sure we are taken care of as we have had such a high volume of packages over the past few months.

Everyone knows the importance of getting your items to you this time of year. Please be courteous to your service providers bringing you your stuff, and please be courteous to your BT Team too. We don’t mind you venting, we get it, and everyone has to have an outlet. Just keep that in the back of your mind when you do.

The BT Team will be working all weekend and late into the night this evening to keep the catch can assembly line and the engravings queue moving. We have all CNC mills on engravings now until we break for the Christmas Holiday weekend at noon on December 23rd. This should really help us get the massive back log of parts piling up out of here.

Keep your eyes on your inboxes for those tracking details. Finally, if you see your order has moved into pending to ship status we will have you out the door by Wednesday the 22nd or Thursday the 23rd at the latest. It means your parts are here and we are finishing up. If your order moves to ready to ship status expect tracking details NLT early the next business day.
