Manufacturing Update February 5, 2019

Good afternoon and welcome to the first MFG Update for February 2019. Team BT always appreciates your support and trust. We have many things to cover today so let’s get right to it.

Stock Status

Coolant Tank Covers

Yes folks coolant tank covers are now running. Satin machine finish will start to ship in about two weeks colors and polish will be heading out to get done later this month.

We are mindful many of you need these in time for Spring Fest and we will have them done for you. Like valve covers, this piece is truly a highlight in your engine bay. Unlike others in the market place, The BT Coolant tank can stay on your sled at all times including Demons, Hellcats, and Shakers.  

Hellcat Water Necks

These beauties are wrapping up machine work now. Satin will start to ship next week. Colors and polish will go for finish and start shipping later this month.

We so very much appreciate you guys and gals being so patient. This is one part where out new machine knocked those out quickly. We just have not had the machine time to put them in and complete them (they have sat partially machined literally since late October) we were able to do all operations (milling and turning) on the new machine. Thank you all again.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Struts are coming off the machine in satin again and shipping. Colors and polish will be going to finish this month and start to ship this month too.

Water Necks

Water necks for 5.7, 6.1 and 392 engines are being machined now as well. Satin machine finish will star to ship next week. Colors and polish will go to finish later this month, and start shipping this month.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers will start machining again at the end of the month, with shipments to resume in early March.

Power Seat Covers

Material will be here late next week, and will go on the machine by the middle of the week of February 18th.

Brake Fluid Caps

Brake fluid caps are sold out and will be going on for milling the last week of February. We will not hold any shipments. The team will ship partials out, less that cap, as needed so we can fill the bulk of your under hood kit orders.

“Devo” Style Strut Covers

The material is ordered, and we will start manufacturing “Devo” style covers the week of February 18th. Shipping scheduled to start again the last week of February.

Hood Prop Covers

Hood prop covers in satin are shipping again and colors are starting to go for plate, powder coat and polish now. We have plenty of inventory moving forward to stay reasonable within lead-time now give or take (2o biz days).

Catch Cans

All other products we are in good shape on and we are continually building product to keep pace with demand.

Catch cans are back on pace and satin cans are shipping within 10-14 days or sooner. If you need a satin catch can shipped to you immediately, please let us know (email or phone: 561.582.6171) so we can get that moved up in the build queue and get you out the door in a couple days.

Lots of colors and polish are starting to go out for finishes (matte black today) with more going daily so expect to see us launching several supplemental updates just to keep you informed all during the month of February. When in doubt do not hesitate to call us.

As many of you who follow along with our updates know, we resumed full production again two weeks ago; after three weeks down time for a spindle rebuild on the Okuma, and to take delivery of our new machine. The team has been cutting cans nonstop since. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Colors In. Colors Out. New Colors Soon…

Finally we have good news the F8 Green and Jazz Blue is back, and oh boy those of you who ordered these finishes during the holidays you are in for a treat. They look spectacular.

Titanium is back both standard and matte finishes today too.

Finally we have matte black, more clear anodize and polish that has gone out today.

We will be introducing more colors late in quarter one 2019 so please stay tuned.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Folks please remember if you see your order has come back from finish after our amazing vendor partners have performed their magic, please allow us 7-14 days to complete any final processes. This includes: assembly, final qc, and package prior to shipping your items to you.

If you feel this will interfere with an event or engagement you will be attending please call (561.582.6171) or email us. Team BT will do all we can get your order completed, and shipped out, by your need by date.
