Manufacturing Update July 16, 2021

Good afternoon family, welcome to the middle of the month, and welcome to Friday, which means we have a new update live for you this afternoon.

The Shipping Queue is Slammed

Folks, first thing we want to let everyone know is our shipping area is BACKED UP. We have several hundered orders (literally) that are being cleaned and packaged now.

If you follow the updates you have seen the colors that have come back in the later part of June and now big batch of black that came back a couple days ago that we just are now starting to sort through.

This on top of the satin machine finished items that do not even make the updates. It’s definitely putting some pressure on our shipping department.

You may see your order has had the final charge applied, and in “ready to ship” status for a few days longer than usual. Once your order moves to “ready to ship” it’s usually boxed and picked up within a day of that status change.

It may take up to 3 business days for us to get this jam cleaned out, and in advance we thank you for your patience.

When in doubt, if you see you are in ready to ship status just call us (561.582.6171) if you want to be sure.

If you have a show or event coming up in reach out via email or call us (561.582.6171) and we will jump on your order and get it out if at all possible.

As long timers know, we do not shrink wrap our parts on a “branded” piece of card board and shove your orders in a box. Each of parts is cleaned by hand, and wrapped like fine china before the box is sealed.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping at that 7 business day mark. We took a TON of satin orders during our July 4th sale. All orders placed through July 4th are out of assembly in into packaging now.  We just moved July 5th through July 10th order into assembly and all through July 14th in satin will be shipping next week.

If you see your order has moved to “ready to ship” status on your satin can, allow us a few days to get you boxed up and out the door.

Placing a brand new order for a satin machine finished catch can? Need us to ship it the next business day after you ordered it? Let us know in the order comments if you are ordering online, and we will take care of that for you. Placing your order over the phone? Let the friendly Billet Tech teammate who is helping you with that know, and it will be handled.

Inventory Status

All stock statuses are up to date on the website. The product availability can be found next to the unit price within each product.

Power Seat Covers

The power seat covers back in stock in satin machine finish.  Colors will start to ship at the end of the month and all of August.

Fuse Box Covers

The fuse box covers for Chargers and Challengers are manufacturing now with satin covers shipping again next week. We have a big batch of colors going out next week as well.

Color Batches On Deck

Speaking of batches of colors, we waited to send out several finishes this week so we could get the fuse boxes, and the oil dipsticks restocked and into the next round of colors with your other pieces. Both of those items are now manufactured, including the 2005-2007 fuse box group buy, so expect to see large batches of the following finishes on next Friday’s (July 23) update.

The finishes that will be going out are:

• Purple and Matte Purple
• Orange and Matte Orange
• Jazz Blue
• B5 Blue
• Standard Black Anodize

Colors Out

We sent a round of clear anodize out today, and also sent out another round of Plum Purple Powder Coat. Our powder coater was still in process of doing that color when we picked up our batch from May that is finally back.

Batches Back from Color

Now on to what has come back in this week:

The Black Anodize, White Powder Coat, and the really old Plum Powder Coat is back in.

We are sorting through all these parts now. All catch cans have been routed into assembly, and are being put together. All items that need engraving are in the shop for final processes.

Again friends there are a TON of parts here that are in final stages of completion or completed and preparing to moving into packaging.

Extended Lead Time for Final Processes

We usually let you know that from the time your order has come back in from outside processes to allow us 7-14 days to ship to you. Please be mindful we may be out just a tad bit longer, but we are working hard to keep within that time frame on all the colors that come back in.

We will never just throw something in the box in a shoddy manner. Any questions, and again, if you have an upcoming event and you see your order is back in from the color process reach out to us. Will get you moved out, and do our best to get your items shipped to you asap.
