Manufacturing Update July 20, 2023

Good afternoon BT Family and Friends. Welcome to July which is more than half over. First and always our team absolutely appreciates each and every one of you for your support. We appreciate your trust and we are thankful for your business.

If you follow along with us on our social feeds (Facebook | Instagram) you know 2023 has been ‘that year’ for us. Words can not express our appreciation for you guys and gals that stayed the course with us through this difficult year. The good news is that everything is, wait for it… nearly caught up! We still have a bit of a hill to climb, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

In today’s update we have lots of stuff out, stuff back in and product inventory to discuss, so let’s get after it.

Color Batches Out

On the batches sent out, as we have mentioned many times, there are orders in these batches going back to April as well as many that were placed over the past couple of days. Rest assured we are all working hard, as are our vendor partners, to get these orders completed and shipped to you.

On the tables below we have batches of Purple (standard & matte), Standard Red & Black that went out for plating (anodize). Batches of Indigo (already back in house) and B5 Blue have been sent out for color, and are on the tables below.

Factory Color Match Paint

The factory paint match stuff is moving briskly now. We have parts coming back in from paint and yes many of them are quite old but the end is near. Literally we have been inundated with parts coming in all at once that has caused bottlenecks in the shop now.

In the mean time rather than bore you with a lot of bluster, lets get right to what in, whats out, and of course if you don’t see it here call (561.582.6171) or email us so we can get you details over the phone.

We have received more Octane Red parts, Indigo Blue, Polish, Racing Red Metallic and Plum Crazy back in. Some of these orders were not on any as ‘out tables’ so please call us if you need an update on any of those particular finishes.

To see if your order is here and if not when you can expect it as we have paint getting picked up here now to be finished two and sometimes three days per week. We want this old stuff gone so we are machining it and sending it to finish.

Stock & Manufacturing Runs

Inventory wise we are continually machining and replenishing inventory.

As we have mentioned in some of our prior updates we are still somewhat hamstrung on machine time. One because yes, we do other work here beside the BT branded parts, and two we still have issues on the middle Mazak. We are finally getting one servo board in, so we are running at half capacity on that machine and limited on what we can do. We are working around it as best we can.

Fuse Box Covers

Fuse Box Covers are the number one seller here at BT. We are continually manufacturing all years and styles. We have 600 plus orders currently in manufacturing, engraving, or out at finish.

These items are worked on every single day. Don’t see your box as out or back in and need info email us.

Coil Pack Covers

These are manufactured. We have shipped some sets already, and have sets out for finish now. More heading out for finish over the next couple weeks. We presently have everyone covered who has an open order.

Hellcat Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

These will start manufacturing those next week and they will be on the machine for 2-3 weeks. We will begin sending these out for finishes late the second week of August, and all through that month.

Throttle Body & PCV Covers

We have had to push these back a couple times now. We apologize. We will not bump them again and they will begin manufacturing the second week of August.

Material has been here, we just have had other obligations (non BT) that we could not bump and had to finish. This applies to the PCV Covers as well. We run both those parts concurrently on one machine.

Sigma Series Radiator Caps

Unfortunately these have also been pushed from our late June/early July run ETA to mid August.

If you have a sigma series cap on order we will be contacting you in the coming days to see if you want to switch to the classic BT cap or wait.

We will definitely manufacture these in August, probably towards the middle of the month.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Struts are partially machined. We will pop those back on to complete manufacturing in early August

Catch Cans

Catch cans are shipping daily in satin machine finish. We will have all the old red and black anodized cans cleaned up and shipped out by mid August, that includes current business.
