Manufacturing Update March 12, 2021

Good evening everyone. We have made it to the end of yet another week. We are approaching the halfway point of the month, and nearing the close of the first quarter of 2021. Always, and sincerely, we appreciate the support, and the trust. Team BT thanks you for allowing us to be a part of your ownership experiences.

The Team is Working Hard for You

If you have been following along on the updates, you know we have had a lot of stuff going out, and coming back from finishes. Please know we are working as quickly as possible to get everything assembled, if needed engraved, and then out the door to you, without quality compromise.

Factory Color Update

F8 Green & Redline Red are Wrapping Up

On the factory color matching items that have come back in we have just about wrapped up the F8 Green, and Redline Red. Some random custom pieces remain, but we will be getting to those this week, wrapping up those custom items, and getting them out to you guys and gals.

B5 Blue

The B5 Blue is back! We have started to sort, and prepare the parts for assembly, and final processes, such as engravings. We will start getting a bunch of those orders out next week. Look for those tracking details to start popping into your inboxes next week.

Octane Red

The Octane Red is nearly completed. We posted pictures of it in process on our social media channels this past week (Facebook | Instagram).

We will be picking up the batch of Octane Red towards the middle of next week. All the orders out in the Octane Red batch will appear on next Friday’s update as back in.

Factory Color Batches On Deck

As we mentioned last week (March 5th) the Destroyer Grey, Jazz Blue, and Sublime at that time we were 7-10 days out from going to finish.

That holds and we have a large bundle of parts and those older orders ready to go. Looking like late Monday, or Tuesday to drop those finishes off to be completed (March 15 or 16).

Color Batch Update

Other Colors Back from Finish

Moving on from the factory color match, we received the following back this week as well:

• Black from the March 5th batch
• Red from the March 5th batch
• Purple and Matte Purple from the February 19th batch

Colors Batches Sent Out

This week we sent the follow batches out for color. Scroll down, and see if your order is in the batches that went out.

Colors Batches that went out this week are:

• Yellow
• More Machine Copper and Matte Copper (we added in to the batch from March 5th)
• White
• Orange and matte orange.

Color Batches on Deck

The next round of colors going out next will be Standard Red Anodize, Standard Black Anodize, Clear Anodize and a big round of Polish.

We also are working on getting out another round of Matte Red, and Matte Black. We should be ready by the end of next week, early the following week on those.  

Stock Status Updates

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans ordered between March 2nd, and March 10th are either in assembly, cleared assembly, or packaged with a label waiting to be generated by Alex, and shipped off early next week.

We are right on the 3-7 business days to ship them to you in satin finish from date of order.  If you need us to ship the next business day let us know in the order comments when self checking out or if you order over the phone let the friendly BT rep who is taking your order know so we can take care of that for you.  

If you log in, and see your order as “pending to ship” that means it’s clearing the assembly queue, and heading in to the lovely Andrea, to clean and hand wrap your item, so we can have it on the way.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tank covers are running now. We are still making our best effort to have satin machine finished covers shipping during the last week of March. It’s going to be close.

We purchased over 7500 pounds of material (yes that’s not a joke) to make this run for backorders, and to have inventory on the shelf (in machine satin) as we move into the spring and summer show season.

Colors will ship in April. We have a bunch of cool, custom, one off engravings, and themes going on with those pieces. So stay tuned to our social media channels to see the fun stuff.

Fuse Box & ABS Covers

Boy oh boy are you guys gobbling up fuse box covers, and now ABS Covers too!

Many of you are doing a theme between the fuse box and ABS cover to create one image. This is our speciality, and something we originated and have a ton of experience doing.

With that said we manufactured another round of fuse box covers to keep pace.

We are starting to get low on ABS Covers.  Material was ordered today so we can get those on the machine sometime late next week, or early the following week to keep pace.

Oil Caps

We are tapped out on oil caps as of yesterday’s batching of orders (March 11th). We should not see any delays from our lead-times (posted within each product). With all our popular items (under hood caps, etc) we run these parts nearly continuously to keep pace with demand.

March Modness

Finally we have a few surprises for you guys.

First, March Modness will be retuning! Look for details early next week on how you can win Billet Tech Bling via the “bracket play”, and the grand prize winner, the National BT Champion, will win an all expenses paid trip to Lone Star Mopar Fest, taking place October 8th and 9th.

LSMF is two days of fun, five activities, meet ‘n greet, car show, and race all in one event.

Team BT will pay for you, and a guest for a two night stay at the host hotel. We will cover your entry into the event for both racing, and show.

We will also set you up with the complete “lot” of Billet Technology Bling for under your hood. If we make it, you will take it all home.

Second BT will be dusting off the World Famous Wheel of Win (from the People’s Sale, and the 12 Days of Winning over the holiday season last last year).

This time “Shammy”, the Saint Patty’s Day WAMY, will be dressed up in in green looking to sprinkle some luck on to three random “studio audience” members for a chance to win Big Billet.
