Manufacturing Update September 10, 2021

Good afternoon BT Family. It’s Friday and the weekend is upon us once more. Like clockwork we are here with a brand new MFG Update, so grab a beverage, pull up a chair, and have a quick read.

Engraving and Inventory Restocks

We will keep it short this week. It was a short week coming off a long Labor Day Weekend, and the unofficial end of summer. We spent the bulk of this week getting engravings wrapped up. Lots of yellow, octane red, red, black, frostbite blue, and satin machine parts are in with Andrea to package.

We used the vast majority of our machine time to get some inventory replenished, so we can get more batches of colors out next week. We have manifold baffle covers, abs covers, hood shock covers and fuse box covers wrapping production runs now, most of these parts need colors or polish before they are ready to ship out to you.

Colors Out

We did get the batches of blue and matte blue anodize as well as the matte red anodize out for plating this week. You will find those orders in the tables below.

Polish Came Back

We received the big batch of polish back from early August. We have started to assemble the stand alone catch cans so we can get then out to you guys and gals. The coolant tank covers and any other non-engraved items from this batch have also been sent to the packaging and shipping queues.

Batches Still Out

Folks the following finishes are still out

• B5 Blue that went August 8th (due back in week of September 13th)
• Jazz Blue that went July 19th (due back in week of September 13th)
• Plum Crazy that went August 24th (due back in week of September 20th
• Racing Red Metallic was wrapping up as we launched the update today and will be ready for us to get early next week.
• Orange and Matte Orange from last weeks update will be ready middle of next week (week of September 13th)
• Redline Red that went out on September 3rd (due back in week of September 20th)
• Destroyer Grey that went out on September 3rd (due back in week of September 20th).

Dates are subject to change on the above finishes that are still out. Our vendor partners are always working hard, but as with everyone in business presently, even after the “15 days to flatten the curve”, we all are facing challenges both from a labor pool stand point, and materials standpoint.

We will always be transparent with you. We work closely with our vendor partners, whom we have had long time relationships with, to keep communication open and clear.

Color Batches on Deck

Folks as we mentioned last week, the following finishes are on deck to be sent out for color. Many are already bundled up and ready to head to color. We are just waiting on a few more pieces to come off the machines. We have been making chips all week to get these batches wrapped up, then they will be on their way with to our amazing vendor partners:

• Smoke Show
• Sublime
  (this will be the last run of sublime we don’t have too many orders for it and not many coming in for that finish).
• Standard Red Anodize
• Standard Black Anodize
• Lime Green Metallic powder coat.

Those batches will be on next weeks update.

Satin Machine Finish

Satin machine finish parts that require engraving are continually in the engraving queue here, and shipping daily.

Satin catch cans are shipping right around the 10 day mark. However, as we state each week in these updates, if you need us to ship your satin can, or any satin pieces for that matter, asap please just let us know when checking out online, in the order notes. The team will get on it right away.

Cans will ship out the next business day from ordering. All Billet Tech Products are kept in machine satin ready to be engraved or shipped plain as long as we have inventory, and in most cases we do.
