Manufacturing Update September 17, 2021

Good afternoon BT family. It’s Friday and that means it’s time for a new update. As always, our crew thanks all of you for your support, but most importantly the trust that you place in our group. We will never take that for granted.

COVID at BTHQ

Folks we have had a covid outbreak here at the shop the past week. We have suspended visitors from coming in for the next 10 days. 3 of our 10 person group is down, and home until September 28th. Everyone effected is resting, and recovering just fine.

Supply Chain Issues

We still are dealing with some supply chain issues we have spoken about over the past several updates. We are working around them, and it is business as usual. As we have mentioned, it is one big “food chain” as far as these issues and many are worldwide, so our partners are also being effected as well. The people we work with are good people and we support our vendor partners and friends even more so in today’s times.  Extra patience even with us where you wait is really most appreciated right now.

TorRed Went Out

This week we did get out a big batch of TorRed factory color match so we should be seeing that batch back in house in early October.

Colors In

We received the matte red, blue, matte blue, orange and destroyer grey batches back this week. The team is busy getting these pats into final processing, and out to you.

Many of you already received your tracking details for the stand alone orders for the blue finish catch cans. We are packaging the rest of the stand alone cans in the other finishes today, so those all should be out the door on Monday.

Batches On Deck

Folks we know we are behind in getting the batches of standard black, smoke show, sublime, standard red, and lime green metallic out.

The bulk of the open orders in these finishes are bundled up and ready to go. We are still running a bit behind on some of the pieces we want to put in those batches that are coming out of manufacturing now. We will be caught up early next week so we can get them out and coated for you all.

Pending to Ship Status

If you see your order is in “pending to ship” status it means your item(s) are either in assembly, or finishing up final processes. Your order will move to the shipping queue in approximately 3 days, or sooner.

When your order moves to “pending to ship” statues if you paid with a credit card we will have charged your card for the balance due.

All orders that move to “ready to ship” status will ship within one business day. When in doubt call (561.582.6171) or email us.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days.

We have received our black powder coated fittings and that was the only real backup there. All satin cans with black powder coated fittings through September 15th are now in the final assembly queue and heading in to be packaged on Monday. The oldest satin can with black fittings is from September 3rd, the rest are within the past couple days.

All brass and nickel fitting cans either have shipped or will be shipping Monday, if you placed your order through September 15th.

If you need us to ship your satin machine finish can the next business day after you ordered it: just let us know in the comments box you need us to ship it ASAP, and when we batch the orders up the next business morning we will pull it and get it out the door to you.

If you are placing an order over the phone with one of our friendly BT Teammates, just let them know you need your order expedited, and we will take care of it.

Stock Statuses

Folks all inventory statuses are up to date on the website. We have restocked the hood shock covers, the manifold baffle covers, and the Hellcat/Demon supercharger coolant reservoir covers.

All of the above are once again shipping in satin machine finish. We are running fuse box covers (for all makes and models) again, and will begin shipping satin machine finished covers before the end of the month. Colors will ship all through the month of October.

Finish Options

Remember we keep all or our products in satin machine finish. This gives our customers options when they are ordering. The parts can be engraved and shipped to you in that billet look, or sent out as blanks for polish or one of the multiple color offerings we have. Those parts would then come back to us for final engravings and assembly.

Interested in doing a custom finish with your own powder coater or finishing professional?
