Manufacturing Update April 7th, 2017

Good afternoon everyone welcome to April and as is always the case thank you for your trust and support.

Today’s update is more of a supplemental update as we covered a lot of “hot spots” there and for the most part those still do apply.  We are doing intense volume right now on product so we are experiencing delays on getting parts back from colors at times due to just bogging down our supplier base on outside services.  Please understand we will not rush those outside processes, and want you to have what you expect from us: outstanding quality at the very best prices.  No one creates art on solid billet aluminum the way we do, no one.  

Below you will find the items that have gone out for colors and that have come back. Please allow 2-4 weeks now for items to come back in from outside services.  You won’t be disappointed with any finish this is our promise to you.  If you need something quick or have a drop dead time frame you must have your parts by please contact us so we can work towards your schedule and do the absolute best we can to accommodate you.

Valve Covers

Valve Covers are running now as posted on the last update and satin covers will be ready to ship in about 7-10 days.  Color and polish on schedule from last week’s update.

Catch Cans

Catch Cans are running and shipping in order of receipt.  We are about 5-8 days for satin to go out (extreme and we do mean extreme volume on this product). Colors are staying on lead-time or just a little longer, we are working towards getting those moved in a bit. 

Under Hood Pieces and Hood Props

We have plenty of stock on all our under hood pieces and hood props in satin are starting to ship.  Next week will have a hood prop update only as we start to receive all those back orders back from colors and polish and send orders out for color and polish.  

Everyone who has a backordered hood prop kit will be receiving 40% OFF retail for your patience.  We know it’s been a long time we just have not been able to get machine time to do them.  First the tail stock on the lathe we use was out of wack then when we fixed that we had one of our non automotive clients add on to a multi year PO that we must make quantity delivery on by certain dates.  This is the reason we removed that product from the shelf and will be returning it to the store next week for new business as we have stock again for future orders.  

Challengerfest!

Team BT is pleased and proud to once again be the Presenting Sponsor for Challengerfest this year in Bowling Green Kentucky.  We will be attending this year’s event and providing an auction prize of solid billet aluminum BT Valve Covers and Coil Pack Covers for bid.  Satin will be on display however, the winning bidder will have their choice of colors, designer cut, and engravings on the coil pack covers.  

We will be leaving to go to Bowling Green on Tuesday afternoon April, 18th and so look forward to coming back this year.  We love Challenger Fest and helping raise money for the great folks at Racing4Vets.  Amazing stuff we hope to see many of you there.  

All Angles Design

Many of you on social media have been following along with Mikah and All Angles as it relates to the suspension parts he created for a certain shop here in West Palm Beach Florida.  As you may have read this certain shop ripped off the man’s designs and cheated him out of what he was owed. We are all too familiar with this shop and their business practices in fact we have an article on our website that we posted almost three years ago to the day about what took place in our own facility as it relates to them.  

The great news for everyone in our niche marketplace is now you can buy the suspension parts direct from All Angles Designs.  No more having to purchase inferior products from a company that knows NOTHING about engineering.  No more worrying if your parts are made to specifications because said company with no “logix” took the parts and had them backward engineered and machined and stolen elsewhere.
