Manufacturing Update April 9, 2020

Family thank you for checking in. We hope everyone is remaining healthy, and safe. Your BT Team remains humbled, and grateful for your support, as well as your trust.

Team BT is Still Hard at Work

We continue our five on, five off staggered shifts here at the facility with an hour in between to deep clean. Team BT remains healthy, and grateful to be able to work.

We serve not only you, our automotive customers, but our medical, and aerospace clients too. Our vendor partners are working, and still providing top shelf service, and support.

Supply Chain Issues: Fittings & Hoses

The only real supply chain issues we have run into are fittings and hose. Our vendor, we support and purchase from, has been outstanding in getting those issues resolved for us quickly. We are able to keep the catch cans in assembly, and get them shipped.

Some of you may have noticed your cans have been in “ready to ship status” for the past 7-10 days. This was due to a lack of hose, and barbed straight fittings for the 392 PCV connections.  

BT has secured everything we need through the end of April. We have already placed another order which is scheduled to arrive by the end of this month, and should cover May’s business.  

Stock Statuses & Manufacturing Runs

Valve Covers & Coolant Tank Covers

As previously mentioned, we had planned on having valve covers on the machine right now. However, we are having trouble getting material drops in the sizes needed to run those without having to increase the price.

We have drops ordered, and have an ETA from the “mill” for mid May delivery.

In the interim, we are going to run coolant tank covers in that time slot we had set aside for the valve covers. We will start making chips the week of April 27th on those coolant tank covers, and shipping all back orders in May.

Water Necks (5.7, 6.1 & 392 HEMI)

Water necks for 5.7, 6.1 and 392 Hemi’s we sold out last weekend. We ordered material and will have these running again later this month, and into early May.

Trackhawk Water Necks

Our patent pending Trackhawk water necks will start to ship later this month, and all through May, until all orders are filled.

Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

Super Charger Coolant reservoir covers sold out last weekend.

Next manufacturing run will be the first week of May.

These have a short machine run time, so they won’t take long. We will have satin machine finish ready to ship again the first week of May. Colors, and polished covers will start shipping in mid-to-late May.

Door Lock Kits

We have random sets in stock, and will do another full manufacturing run again at the end of this month.

Satin Catch Cans

We have plenty of stock on the shelves. Now that we have replenished fittings, and hose we will be back on the 3-5 business day lead time.

All cans ordered between April 1st, and April 8th, are heading into packaging now, and will be on the way to you by Monday, April 13th, at the very latest.

All stock status on the rest of our product line are in good shape.  

Colors In, Colors Out

The team has received quite a few batches back from color this week:

• Standard Black Anodize
• Polish
• Octane Red
• Jazz Blue

We sent out a batch of Racing Red Metallic this week as well. Please check the tables below this article for more information. As always, if you have a question, please call (561.582.6171) or email us. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

We still have batches of yellow, matte red, standard red anodize, and titanium out for finish. We should see those back in house, next week.

Next Batches of Anodize

The next round of anodize that will be going to plating is orange, and matte orange, as well as blue, and matte blue. We will be sending those batches out Monday, or Tuesday of next week.

Later in the week a big batch of black will be going out.

We are holding on purple. So folks who ordered purple, please stay tuned. We think you will like whats coming.

Matte purple will however, be heading off for finish late next week.
