Manufacturing Update August 1, 2022

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to August. As always our team appreciates each of you for your trust and support.

Let’s jump right in and get started.

Factor Color Match (Paint)

First the factory paint match we have nothing new to report from the July 20th update.

We appreciate those of you who have been so patient and thank you for keeping it civil when calling in. We understand your frustration, and disappointment with how long this has taken. Please know that we are just as frustrated as you are, and we have done all we could to speed this process along.

Our next call with the painter in California is scheduled for August 2nd. We will update all open paint orders on an individual email basis starting tomorrow, and all this week, until we cover everyone. So please be on the look out for an email from us if you have a factory color match order still open.

Factor Color Match (Paint) Discontinued

As we discussed in the July 20th update we have suspended factory paint color match until we have a positive direction moving forward and yes, fill the MANY MANY MONTHS of long delays of outstanding orders. We have had paint out with our vendor partner since March on the oldest batch (B5) with B5, Redline Red and F8 Green the oldest orders.

Tired of Waiting?

If you have a current factory color match order in with us and you want to change to something different please call us. Our team stands ready to assist. We’ve helped quite a few of you with this already. Many of those who changed finishes in the past 30 days have already shipped, or getting ready to ship.

Leftovers

For those of you watching from the sidelines, there have been many customers with parts at the paint shop who cancelled their orders, or moved to different colors. Once all the open orders are filled, we will list all available color matched parts for sale. We have no idea which parts will be available, nor do we have an ETA for these parts.   All open orders must be filled first. Follow the manufacturing updates to stay in the loop.

Powder Coat and Anodize Lead Times

Most anodized colors are shipping within 30 days or less. We are shipping partials when we do not have a specific part on your orders with multiple pieces.

Powder coated finishes in white, racing red metallic, and yellow are running approximately 30-45 days.

Colors In, Colors Out

The batches of Matte Black, Purple, and Matte Purple anodize have come back in to the shop. The team has already gotten them sorted and into the queue for final processes.

We sent out batches of Standard Red, Blue, Matte Blue, Orange and Matte Orange for plating. See the tables below for details. When in doubt do give us a call for one on one assistance.

Finishes Still Out for Powder Coat

The Following Finishes are out still at powder coat:

• Lime Green Metallic (will be done this week)
• White (will be done this week)
• Racing Red (eta from powder coating week of August 8th to be ready for pickup).

Inventory Statues

We have some stock statuses to report on also:

Hellcat Thermostat Housings (water neck)

These sold out over the weekend. There are a few back orders on these, and we will get another manufacturing run in this month.

Coil Pack Covers

These also sold out over the weekend. We took quite a few orders for those. We did not have plans to run them again until late Fall. Based on where we sit with backorders we will probably making another round in September to get everyone out of here and get some product on the shelf as we roll into the holidays.

ABS Covers (Cars 2012 to present)

We are sold out. We will do another manufacturing run this month.

Coolant Tank Covers

We pushed the manufacturing run back to the week of August 8th.

Ram & Jeep Fuse Box Covers (all years)

We have limited stock and ordered material last week. We should have them on a machine late the week of August 16th.

Inventory on everything else is all set and we are in pretty good shape stock status wise. We have made adjustments on how we order materials now as shortages on materials are popping up on up on a regular basis. Therefore, we are forecasting out approximately 30 days ahead of time to allow for any delays.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 1-3 days. We have restocked the black powder coated fittings again so there are no delays on those.
