Manufacturing Update August 21, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Friday, and welcome to the weekend, on this the third Friday of August 2020. Our team absolutely appreciates each, and every one of you, for your generous support.

Team BT COVID Update

If you tune in regularly to our updates, you know our team has been affected by the Covid19 pandemic in a pretty major way, over the past several weeks. 7 of our group of 10 went down, but the great news is the team is recovering nicely.

Nick and Sebastian returned to work this week. Neal, Nico, Zach, Ralph and Kevin will return on August 31st.

The only one struggling right now is our patriarch Mr. Pete, our Navy Chief, Founder and Seabee. He has a long road ahead of him, and we are pulling for him to be able to return to us very soon.

The group sincerely appreciates the love, support, the notes, and goodies many of you sent in to us over the past couple of weeks. We say it often but again, we cannot stress it enough, the connections made with you, our customers, go so much further beyond the bling in the box.

“Thanks” at times, just never seems enough. Know that we remain humbled, and grateful for the opportunities you present to our team each, and every day. We will never take your trust for granted.

Visitors & Local Pick Ups

We have suspended tours and pickups at the facility until Monday, September 7th.

If you are local and were planning to come pickup your order we will ship your order to you free of charge.

This is to protect you. We are not allowing visitors until all our people are sufficiently recovered from Covid.

Even with us deep cleaning each evening, we will remain on the safe side of caution. As mentioned above, packages will be shipped to our local clients free of charge, until pickups can resume.

BT Updates

Usually, we try to get at least two updates out per week, but being short staffed has presented a bit of a challenge to that. You can expect at least one update per week, on Fridays, until after Labor Day.

What does that mean to you? It means you may see your order back on the tables, and already received your shipment.

The four of us that have remained healthy, are working lots of extra hours to keep things flowing. A big thanks to our lead-man John Casey for keeping the shop running, pretty much all by himself! Man has he gotten work in!

Colors In. Polish Out.

We received the batches of racing red metallic, and white powder coat into the shop. Those orders are being sorted for final processes.

We also sent a batch out to polish. Please see the tables below the article for more information. If you need further assistance, please call (561.582.6171) or email us, and one of the BT Team members will be happy to help.

Black, and orange are on deck to go out as is redline red, octane red, destroy grey and Jazz Blue. The B5 Blue should be back early next week along with the blue anodize and matte blue finishes that are already out. 

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are in stock and we still are keeping our lead-time for shipping within that 3-5 business day window. A few folks have gone out to seven days, the reason being, we ran out of nickel fittings.

That shipment came in today, and we resumed getting the red, matte red, and satin catch cans out the door to you.

All red, and matte red, catch cans that were on the Friday, August 21st update (that had no other products shipping with them) have either shipped, or are in shipping right now. They will be out the door at the very latest Monday, August 24th.

If you need us to ship your satin catch can the next business day, after you order, just let us know if you are calling in to place it. If you are ordering online, just drop us a note in the comments box when checking out, and we will get that handled for you.

Racing red metallic catch cans (that do not have any other products shipping with them),  we started to unpack them, and sort them in assembly. Those will start shipping on Tuesday.

Valve Covers

Folks we have 18 sets of valve covers in red, racing red metallic, white, matte red, and purple in the shop right now to be designer cut.

All non-designer cut covers in those finishes, that have gone out for color, have shipped.

Several of these sets are getting matching coil pack covers with designer cut, and custom engravings on them. We will be setting up to complete the coil pack covers, so we can get your combos out the door to you.

Any stand alone valve covers, back from finish, stated here in this paragraph, that required us to designer cut them will be shipped complete next week.

Man, so many great memories here with these valve covers. The monolith of the engine bay, and those of you that got onboard with this, the final run of valve covers, you will not be disappointed.

There are others in the market place, but quite frankly nothing comes close, and it all starts with the beautiful satin machine finish. Then our vendor partners, who provide colors, work their magic, enhancing an already spectacular product.

Blue, and matte blue valve covers are out right now. We should see those batches back in next week, and will get them designer cut (if required), and shipped as soon as possible.

Hood Prop Covers

Hood shock, or hood prop covers, for Charger, Challenger, and 300 and Magnum are manufacturing right now.

Satin machine finished sets will start to ship late next week, and the week of August 31st.

All color, and polished kits on back order will be shipping all through out  September.  Keep an eye on these updates to see when your order will go out for color.

HEMI Water Necks

Water necks for 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L (392 Hemi) are shipping in satin now.

We are fully replenished on machine finish inventory. Next week we will begin sending colors out to plating. We will be shipping colors through September until all back orders are filled.

Satin machine finish water necks will ship within 1 business day of ordering now.

Hellcat & Demon Water Necks

Hellcat and Demon thermostat housings (water necks) are on the machine now.

Satin machine finish back orders will start to ship right after Labor Day.

Colors will go out for color, and will ship, in September.

We will have plenty of inventory on the shelf for all new business.

Trackhawk Water Necks

Trackhawk water necks in satin machine finish (yes finally) will start to ship the second week of September.

Our patent pending has been approved, and we are clear to release the product.

NO bolt hole, and no obstructions. Installation is a super simple, but will require some mechanical skills do to that job.

Thanks to all of you Trackhawk owners for all the support, and patience. We probably jumped the gun (literally) launching this product when we did.

We did not expect the Covid19 pandemic to slow the process of obtaining our paperwork to take such a long time. We probably should have known better. We are going through a federal bankruptcy case now, as creditors, against the principals of WAM Show, DFWLX, and those respective corporations and the delays due to covid should have tipped us off that any dealings with the USTPO would take time as well. 

Again our apologies for the delay in starting to ship out the Trackhawk water necks. All courts, and legal paperwork are taking much longer to move through the process.

We are mindful of this now, and we will wait until things improve before we launch our next couple products. You guys are gonna love what we have in store, so we leave you with a cliff hanger on that.

Fuse Box Covers

Fuse box covers for 300, Charger and Challenger are completing manufacturing now.

Satin machine finish will start shipping the first week of September.

Colors, and polish shipping all during the month of September.

Devo Strut Covers

Devo strut covers are back in stock satin machine finished kits are shipping. Colors and polish will be shipping starting later this month and into September until back orders are filled. We have plenty of inventory moving into the final months of 2020.

Each product is up to date on the availability section of each item. You can find that information simply by clicking the product you are interested in, and finding the “availability section” underneath the Unit price, and above the drop down menu for options.

We Need a Little Patience

Folks with the crew still extremely short staffed here, at least until the 31st, we are asking you guys, and gals to give us a little more of your patience. We are getting a bit jammed up in final engraving stage.

We are doing our best to have the final processes completed within 14 days, as we usually do.

If you need something quick, and it’s back in from color, reach out to us so we can work you in.

In the late afternoon Alex, and Heidi are moving into the shop to keep machines running after John, and Sebastian leave at 3:30. Nick Billet is also back now, and is helping pickup some of the machine time slack in the afternoons, starting up next week. Our motto always is adapt, and over come!

Payments

Folks once more a note on payments. PayPal is instant, we do take a 30% deposit to start work. If you are not comfortable with any of this reach out to us we will work with you.  

Our team understands that trust is delicate when it comes to your funds. We don’t run you around if you want a refund, or are unsure as a first time client.

We freely admit we are not the company for you if you want instant gratification. We only keep our products in machined aluminum simply because the demand for customization of our items is high. It does not pay for us to stock every single finish, engrave option, designer cut, etc. We honestly cannot afford to do that.

We make our products in batches, send them out for colors in batches, and work with you one on one for all your custom ideas, or themes.

If you dispute any prepaid payments such as PayPal, which is instant, we will not even reply, and we will allow the order to be refunded, and canceled.

Same with the deposits. Don’t want us to charge it? Tell us we won’t.

We are here to work with you, not against you. So please help us, help you, by reviewing the Help / FAQ Section of the invoice copy you received via email. If you order online many of those very same links are on the “Thank You Page” that you see pop up after your order number is generated.
