Manufacturing Update August 26, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. We are a day early this week and and we must start by saying thank you.  Thank you for your support, but most importantly thank you for the trust you place in our team. We are always mindful that we are still here on the platform after all these years because of you.

Colors Out

Today’s update will be brief as we prepare the next big waves of colors to go out. We did get the Plum Crazy Purple and Racing Red Metallic out this week, as those were getting a bit long in the tooth on several orders. We are wrapping up production runs on several of our items so we can get out the rest of the factory color match orders, get them finished, and into your hands.   We also have more matte red and black.

Octane Red is Back

On last Friday’s update we let you know that the Octane Red was due back in and we have indeed received it back. We have several custom coolant tank covers that Nick has been getting approvals on those renderings, we are moving those parts into the engraving queue now.

On the remainder of the orders that came in from that batch we have moved all the catch cans into assembly, and the under hood parts that need engraving out into the shop to be completed.

Colors In

We also received the red and black anodize batches back that were on last week’s update (August 20th), and are assembling and completing all processes now.

Please allow us 10-15 business days to complete any final processes and get your parts packaged and shipped out to you. As always if you have any questions please call (561.582.6171) or email us.

Color Batches Still Out

We still are waiting on the following to come back in:

• Frostbite Blue
• Jazz Blue
• B5 Blue (these orders when back in will have immediate priority as we have folks from March still waiting on some items).
• Yellow Powder Coat
• Polish

As soon as these items come back in we will get on them immediately.

Extended Delays

Folks, as we are all are aware we are now almost 18 months in to the Covid pandemic. While we have been fortunate to be able to continue to work. From supplier partners having to shut down, finding new sources on some of our outside processes, material cut backs, hardware shortages, etc., it’s been a roller coaster to be sure.

These very same conditions we are in our vendor partners are experiencing as well. Please understand that we are adapting to ever changing conditions, and we will always be transparent with you.

It’s always taken time to get our items, this is not a secret, and not something we have shied away from. We have always said if you can’t wait, or don’t want to wait we will not be the company for you. Inventory Statuses

All inventory statuses are up to date on the website in each individual product. You can find that information in the Availability Section that is next to the unit price.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping right around the 10 day mark from ordering. If you need us to ship your item the next day after you order it in satin machine finish please let us know in the order comments when self checking out or if you call in just let the friendly BT rep know over the phone and we will take care of it for you.

Satin Finish Items

Ordering any other BT items in satin machine finishes? As long as we have inventory we keep all our products in machine finish blanks, and we usually ship to those orders to you within 3 weeks or sooner.

Hellcat, Demon, Trackhawk Dipsticks

We do have an important update regarding Hellcat Charger, Challenger, Demon, Trackhawk and Hellcat Durango Dipsticks. We have plenty of inventory on the BT part (the handle). We will continue to send the pieces to finishes. However, there is a national backorder on the factory oil dipstick. We are at a standstill as we actually modify the factory stick and put our handle on the factory piece. We cannot ship these at the moment. As soon as we can we will. Any questions please call us.

No Office Hours Tomorrow

Friends thats going to do it for this week and the last Manufacturing Update for August 2021. We are a day early this week on the update because tomorrow we will only be at the facility until 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time as it is our annual “family day.” At BT.

We appreciate all of you allowing our team a day in the sun where we can gather with our families and just enjoy each other’s company.

For years we have done our annual Rapids Water Park Trip, and this year we are able to do so again. In 2019 we were preparing for Hurricane Dorian that thankfully missed us, and last year we were unable to have our family day due to the Covid pandemic.
