Manufacturing Update August 26, 2022

Good afternoon everyone. As always, thank you for checking in, and most importantly thank you for all the support and trust you place in our team.

We are at the end of August and the last MFG Update for August 2022. To say it’s been another wild ride this year is an understatement. Together we all power through and please know how much our team appreciates all of you.

The F8 Green Batch is Back!

We are finally seeing the ancient paint match batches, that have been out forever, come back in. The B5 and Redline Red arrived over the past 10 days, and now yes the F8 Green is here!

We are working quickly to get every one of those orders buttoned up and out the door. Yes we have had many cancellations on the paint match parts, and any left overs from those will move over to anyone still be waiting. After that we will put the parts up for sale again.

Next Factory Color Match Batches

The next inbound batches of factory color match parts will be Smoke Show, Indigo Blue and Plum Crazy. We should see those back right after Labor Day, if not before.

All outstanding paint match orders have the highest priority for us to finish up once back in the shop. Speaking of Smoke Show, Indigo Blue and Plum Crazy, every order that is outstanding is at paint, so when those items come back they will be completed fully.

As we mentioned on the August 22nd update, we now have a second painter working with us, and if all goes well we will reintroduce the factory color match options again in September.

We simply will not do so until we are assured the path forward will not be as rocky as it has been with 5, 6 and yes 7 plus months with our parts sitting at paint and you waiting for them.

Other Finishes

All other finishes in standard anodize, powder coat and polish are moving very quickly through the processes. Our powder coaters are delayed a bit and are keeping us up to speed with the reminder of the racing red and white orders due in here within the next 7 business days.

We sent quite a few batches out over the past couple days to be painted, or anodized. Those batches are for Smoke Show, Indigo Blue, Plum Crazy Purple, TorRed, Octane Red, and Standard Red anodize. We also go the Matte Black in.

Stock Statuses

Inventory status remains unchanged from The August 22nd update.

Satin catch cans are shipping within the 3-5 day lead-time with the exception of cans with black powder coated fittings. The fittings will be in the middle of next week so we can wrap those up.

All satin machine finish Hellcat Catch Cans that have not shipped will be shipping out next week. We just got the material in for the quick connect PCV system kits.
