Manufacturing Update August 28, 2020

Good afternoon family. Welcome to the weekend, and the last Manufacturing Update for August 2020.

Team BT COVID Update

First, as we mentioned last week, please accept our apologies for only getting out one update a week over the past month, or so. Covid has taken down 7 of our 10 person shop over the past 5 weeks.

We have been extremely short staffed, and stretched thin. We are happy to report that as of this update everyone who has been diagnosed with COVID19 has recovered. The shop will be back to our full working staff on Monday, August 31st.

The amount of emails, calls, as well as goodie boxes we received from you guys, and gals, over the past couple weeks has been incredible. Thank you all for the love, which has lifted spirts here immensely. We appreciate it, much more than you could know.

Visitors & Local Pick Ups

As mentioned in the last couple of updates, we have suspended visitor pickups, and tours, until September 14th.

Everyone will be back to the facility again, fully recovered from Covid, and we are excited to welcome you back.

If you are local, and had a pickup scheduled, we will ship your parts to you free of charge.

Color Batches Back In

Today will keep it brief. We have the blue and matte blue back in house. The polish will be back here on Monday, August 31st, so we have included polish table in today’s update.

We will get these items sorted, and all stand alone catch cans into shipping starting Monday. All under hood pieces, and other customs engraved items, will be routed into the shop to finish final processes.

Color Batches Out for Finish

We sent out the following batches for color/finish: yellow, lime green metallic, clear, and matte clear anodize. Please check the tables below the article for details. Color Batches on Deck

The next colors we plan to send out for finish will be orange, purple, and titanium (in both standard finish and matte finishes). We have started to gather those pieces, and bundle them to go to plating next week.

Engraving Delay

We are a bit behind in the engraving queue with the bulk of our crew being out with COVID.

We will quickly catch up, and get these under hood items out of here. A bunch of red, white, matte red, yellow, and lime green from the batches we got back over the past 10 days are wrapping up now in the shop.

“Ready to Ship” Order Status

Folks if you see your order in “ready to ship” status, and it sits for a few days DO NOT PANIC. We literally have over 600 orders releasing into shipping right now, and over the next several days.

As you know, we don’t slap your BT parts on the back of a piece of card board with shrink wrap. The lovely Andrea, our awesome shipping lady, cleans and wraps each piece by hand. It shows when you open the box.

Quality over quantity every single time. If you see your order is back, and you need us to ship it asap call us (561.582.6171) so we can get you moved up in assembly, and engraving.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are still shipping within three to five business days from date of order.

All satin orders placed from August 20th to August 23rd are clearing assembly now, and heading to packaging.

August 24 to current business (today’s biz) will be moving into assembly Monday morning.

If you need us to ship your satin catch can the next business day, after you placed your order, let us know in the order comments when checking out and we will take care of it.

Calling your order in? Just let us know on the phone you need it shipped asap, and we will get it out the same day if before 2:00 P.M. Eastern and if after 2:00 P.M. Eastern it will ship the next business morning.

Stock Statuses

All inventory statuses are up to date on each individual product on the website. As always, when in doubt just call (561.582.6171) or email us for one on one assistance regarding anything you may wish to order, and a rough ETA on when to expect it.

Fuse Box Covers

We are fully restocked on fuse box covers again. Satin machine finish covers are shipping and colors will start to ship in mid September until backorders are completed.

Some covers went out today with the batches of clear, lime green metallic and yellow.

You can find your orders in the tables below. If you don’t see your order in the tables, reach out to us just to be sure we did not miss you for whatever reason.

Hood Strut Covers

Hood shock covers (hood prop) are shipping in satin machine finish.

We are full restocked, and in good shape, inventory wise, to carry us deep into the Holiday Season.

Colors have started to go out, and we will have all back orders shipped out of here in September.

Coolant Tank Cover

Coolant tank cover material will be in house late the week of September 7th.

We have quite a few backorders on those, and expect to start shipping satin machine finish covers the 3rd week of September. Colors to follow shortly thereafter. We will have inventory on the shelf moving forward.

PayPal & CC Deposit Reminder

Worried about that instant PayPal payment you sent in, or the 30% deposit? This is especially true if you are a new customer?

Call us we can and will refund anything prior to shipping, if you are not comfortable with us holding your money. You can always pay with a credit card where we only preauthorize your card when you order.
