Manufacturing Update December 3, 2019

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to the first MFG Update of December and yes, the last month of 2019. The time has gone so very quickly. What an unbelievable ride it’s been this year. Thank you all for coming along on the journey, it’s been such an amazing year.

Thank You All, What a Year It’s Been

We all weathered the storm of the lemoned machine earlier in the year, which really upset our production pipeline. We got through a frivolous cash grab lawsuit with a victory, and bankrupted the unscrupulous couple for bringing actions against our business, where none was warranted, in Dallas Texas. We did this all together with you.

We all raised money for Hurricane Dorian victims at Nick Billet’s FB page. Your Team BT continued it’s nearly 15 years of unwavering support of the community with: cash given to shows, door prizes, and sponsorships.  We have been on this fantastic journey together with the people!

We held our First “Game Show Edition” of The People’s Sale last month, which was probably our smoothest running event ever. The feedback we received from everyone was just over the top, the team here truly appreciates how much everyone enjoyed the sale, and it’s social media shenanigans. Never forget where you come from, and it’s why we always say “people first” here at BT.

When you communicate clearly, are open with folks, and do what you say (even if it takes some time) people not only will stay, they will come, and continue to support you. That is exactly what you guys, and gals, have done. It is extremely humbling to us, and we are so very grateful.

With your support, love and trust we continue our technology upgrades, and will be taking delivery of a brand new CNC Milling Center by the end of this month. The paperwork was signed sealed, and delivered, just before our Thanksgiving Holiday break last week.

Thank you all for making these things possible. More machines, more production, more fun things to come in 2020. Thank you often times does not seem enough.

Vendor Partners

A big shout out to our vendor partners who continue to do such an amazing job for us. Without them we simply cannot offer the wide variety of choices we do. Our vendor partners enhance our products, even more than our already amazing off the machine satin finish, and we are grateful to them.

Polish, Blue and Titanium Batches Out

Speaking of those amazing finishes our vendor partners produce, we sent out 3 batches today: Polish, Blue (standard and matte), and Titanium (standard and matte). Please check the tables below for more details.

Stock Statuses & Manufacturing Runs

The Manufacturing Update from November 25th listed products we have run out of stock on and ETA’s to run or that are running. Those remain unchanged. We have a few more items to add to that list today so please see below. Team BT continues to build product to replenish items that we ran out of over the holiday frenzy here the past couple weeks.

Fuse Box Covers:
Fuse boxes in satin are starting to ship, and colors being prepped to go out for finishes. All styles all years. Fuse box covers, along with hood shock covers and catch cans were the top three selling items here in the past month. We do have inventory on hand now for current business moving forward and all orders are accounted for with no back orders as of close of business on December 2nd.

Trackhawk SC Coolant Tank Cover:
Another big big seller was the Jeep Trackhawk Super Charger Coolant reservoir cover. Satin machine finished covers are shipping now. We will be sending out colors, and polish for finish, and then shipping as they come back in from our vendor partners.

Power Steering Reservoir Covers:
We bundled up the last ones for finishes, and shipped satin machine finish items out already. These fit 2005-2010 model years.

We are now out of stock after sending out today’s items to be plated or polished. We will order material sometime during the week of December 16th and will run these again the first week of January 2020.

Washer Fluid Caps For 2005-2007 Model Years:
We sold out over the Thanksgiving break. Material will be ordered the week of December 16th and we will run off a batch in early January.

Oil Dip Sticks:
Dip Sticks also sold out over the Thanksgiving Break. Material will be ordered next week we will try to get them on later next week, if not we should be popping them on the machine sometime the week of December 16th. If things change we will update you here.

Satin Catch Cans:
We have plenty of stock. We shipped most orders placed on or before November 22nd prior to breaking for Thanksgiving last week. We will be on the three to five day lead-time (less weekends and holidays) in shipping these to you. We had over 300 orders for individual satin cans over the Thanksgiving holiday break and cyber Monday. We are assembling and shipping in order of receipt. If you have a satin can bundled in with an under hood kit or satin pieces in general we will ship everything together.

Satin Machined Finish Bling

Speaking of satin machined finished parts these are still the number one seller here at BT on any items. They don’t make the MFG Updates because we usually get them engraved, and shipped in 10-15 days for all machine blank stock parts. We have already shipped a bunch of satin machine finished items placed over the past 3o days and will continue to do so.

Factory Color Match Parts

Factory color match parts (jazz blue, octane red, redline red, and destroyer grey) please allow 6 weeks from date of order to delivery. We are doing our best to work with our vendor partner to improve these time frames on the factory matches so we can offer you more factory match finishes in 2020.

Partial Shipments

Friends we are shipping partial shipments out to you. We don’t make you wait as we wait for parts to come off the machine. Same with color or polished items. We know you want your parts and we want to get you as many of them as we can with the holiday season on us. This is how we work year round as well.

Holiday Delivery Requests

That’s going to wrap it up for today. We will definitely have another update this week as we get things back, send more items out, and continue to bang out the holiday delivery requests.

Even though the last day for holiday delivery requests was yesterday (December 2nd) do not hesitate to reach out to us and let us know that you require a holiday delivery on your order. We will do everything possible to make that happen or at least get you a partial shipment in time for the big holiday weeks of December 22nd and December 29th.
