Manufacturing Update February 10, 2021

Good afternoon folks. As promised, we have a midweek update for you. Always our sincerest thank you for allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences, and most importantly the trust you place in our team. We do not take these things for granted.

Factory Color Update

Folks first thing we will get in to is the factory color match. The balance of F8 Green, and Redline Red are completed. We will go pickup those batches late tomorrow afternoon, and we will have those orders in the tables on Friday’s Update as “back in”.

At that time we will be dropping off B5 Blue an Octane Red. Check in Friday to see which orders are included in those batches, and of course, please do call in to us if you want more information, or your order’s latest status.

We are working hard to stay true to the schedule posted in the January 22nd Update. Our goal is to get these color match processes out, back in, through final processes, so we can get them wrapped up and shipped to you ASAP.

As mentioned in previous updates, as soon as we finish the outstanding backorders, we will put the factory color match options back on the website. We will be adding some additional colors to the pallet. Thank you again for your support.

Color Batches Back from Finish

We received the batches of Clear, Orange and Matte Orange back in today. The batch of polish is also back in the shop. All of these batches are being sorted for final processes, before heading to QC, packaging, and finally, shipping. Please allow us 5-10 business days to complete all final processes before shipping your parts to your door.

Color Batches Going Out, or On Deck

Folks we promised you last week, we would be sending out batches of titanium and purple. We got a good portion of the titanium, and matte titanium orders out to plating on Monday.

We also sent off batches of racing red metallic, and white to powder coat.

We will be getting the batches of purple, and matte purple anodize out before week’s end. We are wrapping up machining on a bunch of PCV covers and caps right now, and want to get those out in this batch of anodized purple.

Roman Gold Metallic

We are wrapping up some Roman Gold Metallic orders for you guys, and gals that have business in here. That color when we first introduced it sold really well, but has kinda died on the vine.

This is a last call to place an order for that particular finish. We will discontinue the color on February 28th.

Inventory Update

Family thank you for the tremendous support you guys, and gals have shown us on our social media pages, and in particular our Instagram page. All of our following is organic in nature. No bought and paid for followers. The only time we put up an social media advertisement is in November during our annual People’s Sale.

Just as when we started our brand, more than 15 years ago, we got the word out at the grassroots level via the car forums. Our business model remains unchanged, it’s all grassroots, and word of mouth.

With that said, you guys and gals really responded to our IG Promotion to kick off February. We are humbled, and grateful to all of you. During that one day blitz you guys killed it again, and we sold out of a bunch of under hood caps. Washer fluid caps, oil dipsticks, radiator caps are all gone, or were as of the close of business on February 5th.

Not to worry though, we already started new batches of each of those items to restock immediately. We should not see much of a delay, if any, and expect to stay within our standard lead times.

We will update all the product availability sections on the website before the end of the week. When in doubt simply call us, we are here to help.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers will go on the machine mid to late next week. All satin machine finish orders should be shipped out by the end of this month.

Colors will also start to go out this month. We will be fully replenished on inventory heading into the spring, and pending show season.

Fuse Boxes (Jeep, Durango, Ram)

Jeep, Durango, and 2012-2018 Dodge Ram Fuse boxes we are sold out again. You guys are just eating these fuse box covers up.

Material will be here early next week. We will get them on the machine and back on the shelf before the end of the month.

We have 2019-2021 Ram Trucks fuse box covers on the shelf.

Coolant Tank Covers

The coolant tank covers will go on the machine after the coil pack covers come off (should take about a week to run). Those will be on the machine for a solid 4 weeks.

Your patience will be rewarded. Those covers really are the center piece of your engine bay bling. There are endless engraving possibilities. If you really want to have something unique, hit us up for a custom graphic, or theme, that will be sure to grab everyone’s attention. Custom themes are what we do best. Our crew absolutely loves creating one off themes that will drop your jaw, and those at the local car meet too!

2005-2007 Shifter Inserts

Folks we are now sold out of the 2005-2007 shifter inserts. They have been removed from the website, and retired to the Billet Tech Vault.

What a long run it was. That particular piece was one of our first product offerings back in the spring of 2006. Literally thousands of cars have, or had one, of those installed. Thank you all for such a successful launch of a beloved item, and a retirement to make way for new products.

Satin Catch Cans

Finally as always the official original BT Catch Can is always in production here at the shop. All satin cans ordered through February 7th are clearing assembly, and heading to Andrea to clean, package, and ship out to you.

We are right on the 7 business days to ship lead time. If you need it sooner, just let us know in the comments box that you need next business day shipping, and we will get that handled.

If you are phoning your order in, let one of the friendly BT folks know, and they will make it happen.

Door Lock Kits, Hood Shock & Devo Strut Covers

We are pushing the manufacturing run of door lock kits (pins and bezels) out to the end of February.

We are running hood shock covers, and Devo strut covers. Those sold like gangbusters again last Monday, during our IG promo. We ordered additional material to keep those jobs running to fill current orders, and restock the shelves. We don’t have many door lock kits on order, and this is a situation where the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

The Juggling Act

Yes it a juggling act here at times on what we need to do first. Many folks do not realize that we are not a huge company. The same core group of seven has worked together for over more than 20 years and the three who came after are kids of our senior team members here.

We could grow our business more, expand, and add more employees, but the very simple fact is our crew has a unique chemistry. That chemistry reflects in the product we sell, and the interactions you receive from us. We work together and play together. It’s rare to find people who are not blood become family, and that is what we have here at Team BT.

It’s why we will always be transparent with you that our products take time, and if you cannot wait, we understand.

We do promise that we will give you exceptional service, answer your calls, reply to your emails, and be there for you before, during, and after the sale.  When we screw up we will own it.  When we win we all win together this is how is should be.
