Manufacturing Update January 22, 2021

Hello everyone. Welcome, and thank you for your support, for allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences, and most importantly the trust you place in our team.

The team is rebuilding inventory, and getting back orders ready to go to finishes. We are shipping satin machine finish back orders as quickly as possible. We have very good news to report on the Factory Color Match so will get right into it.

Factory Color Match

Folks if you are just tuning in to our updates, and you have an outstanding order in for factory color match BT pieces please, take a look at the December 22nd, the January 8th and the January 15th updates to see our plan of action, and how we have moved to resolve that loan bottleneck in our manufacturing and finishing workflow.

F8 Green

With that said we are very pleased to report we received several pieces of F8 Green back here on Wednesday afternoon. The parts are fantastic, and flawlessly done.

Several of our customers who had open orders from the November 24th update came back, and are in with Andrea to wrap, and ship today.

What we have done is combine the November 24th update of F8 Green, and all current business that had been placed with us prior to us removing the factory color options on a table below.

The orders on this F8 Green table are racked, and being completed now. We will see them back in 7-14 days.

As mentioned in our previous updates, all factory color match orders have a very high priority once they come back in the shop. We will assemble catch cans, and get all pieces that need engraving completed, and then into packaging so we can ship you your parts as quickly as possible.

Redline Red

Today you will also find a combined table of the Redline Red from November 24th and all back business that we had not started as of yet.

Everyone is covered for the most part on the redline. It too is out to be completed, and will be back within 7-14 days.

Factory Color Coolant Tank & Hood Shock Covers

There may be a few orders that do not have coolant tank covers, and hood shock covers out just yet. We notated this on the table’s comments, so please be sure to take a look. There may be stand alone orders for just those two items that will not be on here to go to finish as we are making those items now in our shop.

Other Factory Color ETAs

Now that we have a firm direction moving forward on the backed up color match orders, here is when you can expect to see your outstanding orders to head out to be finished:

B5 Blue:
– Orders will go to finish between February 1st and 10th (early February)
Octane Red
– Orders will also go to finish between February 1st and 10th (early February).
Destroy Grey, Sublime, TorRed & Jazz Blue
– Orders will go to finish Mid February.

We are very confident in the above time frames based on our visits with our color matching vendor partners over the past two weeks, and our visual inspection of where things are in the work stations as it relates to racking parts and getting them completed.

When Will Factory Color Options Return

We hear you, you want more factory color match options.

We cannot, in good conscious, put the previous factory color offerings up again, let alone new ones, until we are “out of the woods” on the current orders. We must have steady, reliable lead times, and the top tier quality we all expect from BT Products.

Once we are satisfied we have every open factory color order nearing completion, and subsequently completed, and as long as the schedule outlined above stays on track, then, and only then will we reopen the factory color match options on the website.

Credit Card Reauthorizations, & Final Payments

Folks, as we start getting these factory color match orders in the final stages we will be completing the payment process as well.

If you paid via a credit card, we will be reauthorizing your card for the balance due.

Remember, if you paid via credit card you may have been charged the 30% deposit back when you placed your order, and Alex always sends a friendly reminder that he is doing so.

On that email reminder he also attached links to information regarding how you paid, lead-times, and a link to our MFG Updates Section.

If you paid via PayPal you are all set.

Please remember PayPal is instant. As we outline in our Payment Terms section, if at any time you are not comfortable with us holding your money while we manufacture your order, please call (561.582.6171) or email us. We will put it right back in your PayPal, and bill you when your order is ready to ship.

Colors In, Colors Out

We do have red and black back that went out last Friday (January 15th).

Batches of F8 Green, and Redline Red (mentioned above), as well as a batch of Roman Gold are out for color.

We have a large batch of black, red, matte black, and matte red catch cans, and other parts, that Neal is finishing bundling up to go to our anodizer next week.

Colors on Deck

Titanium, copper, and clear anodize are on deck to go to plating before the end of the month.

When in doubt please do call us. We will give you the latest, and greatest information when you do.

Folks remember we lost a total of four weeks over the holidays with our vendor partners shutting down for the year end, and holiday season. Everything, with the exception of the factory color matching items, have been running very smoothly.

Inventory Update

Website Inventory

The inventory list we posted on January 8th is on target. In fact, the 6.1 oil caps we pulled them in a bit early.

Water Necks

Water necks for the 5.7, 6.1, Hellcat and Demon in satin are started to ship today.

We have machine satin in stock, on the shelf again, to fill all back business, and for new business moving forward.

Colors on these will start to go out to finish within the week.

Trackhawk water necks will be on the machine in early February.

6.1 Oil Caps

6.1 Oil caps are back in stock in machine satin.

Washer Fluid Caps

Washer fluid caps (all years) are back in stock, in machine satin.

Throttle Body Covers

Throttle Body Covers are back in stock in machine satin.

ByPass Covers

Hellcat/Demon ByPass Valve covers are back in stock, in machine satin.

Hood Shock Covers

Hood shock covers are on the lathe now, and we will start shipping satin machine finishes late next week.

Back orders with colored shock covers, will start going out to be finished in the next 7-10 days.

We will have plenty of inventory again moving forward.

These were a big seller over the holiday season. We sold over 700 sets from November 12th through December 31st. We shipped the vast majority of those, with only 77 sets remaining to ship. They will come off this manufacturing run. We are making 1000 sets currently.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans orders through January 18th, have been assembled, have shipped, or are in packaging now.

All cans from January 19th forward will ship next week.

Satin cans are shipping within 3-5 business days from ordering.

If you need us to ship your catch can the next business day and you are self checking out let us know in the order comments section, and we will take care of it for you.
