Manufacturing Update November 24, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to the Thanksgiving week edition, and this, the 65th Manufacturing Update for 2020. Once again our team remains humbled, grateful, and thankful for the generous support, and love you have shown us in 2020. This has been our best year ever, and we have you to thank for that.

On today’s update we are here to let you know what has come back in from finishes (see the tables below) and what has gone out (also see the tables below). We’ve also got stock statuses, holiday information and more.

Remember when in doubt during a holiday sale, just call in and leave a voicemail or shoot us an email during the sale’s timeframe. Both are date and timestamped, and you will still receive the discount.

Colors In, Colors Out

Today we received the batches of white and yellow back from powder coat. The team has already begun sorting the parts for final processes. Please allow us 5-10 days to inspect, assemble, engrave, pack and ship your order to you.

We sent a batch to polish, and batches of Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, B5 Blue, TorRed, Redline Red, Jazz Blue, Octane Red, and Sublime out to iridite. See the section below for more information.

Factory Color Batches

As you can see we have a bunch of factory color match items that went out on today’s update. These are orders that came in just before the People’s Sale, and holiday request orders.

Please find your color option, and your order number in the tables below.

As soon as the parts are finished at iridite next week, they will go off to be factory color matched. If you see your order on here it is now out for finishing.  

All holiday requests will have high priority, as will the bulk of these orders. If you have a factory color match order that you placed during the People’s Sale, and it’s not in the tables below, please do not panic. We will be sending another round out in December for all finishes.

Satin Catch Cans

All Satin catch cans ordered from November 12th through yesterday’s close of business (November 23rd) are in the assembly queue.

Several will ship today before our team breaks for Thanksgiving. We are shipping holiday requests first, and then in order of receipt. All orders between those dates will be shipped by Wednesday, December 2nd.

We had close to 600 satin catch can orders alone during The People’s Sale. Just incredible! We are extremely grateful for the trust, and support. We have plenty of product since we run these every single day. Lots of colors, including Holiday delivery requests, will be going out for plating, and powder coating, next week once our amazing vendor partners return from their Thanksgiving break.

Stock Statuses

As is always the case during the People’s Sale, and in November, and December we sell out of a lot of inventory. While we start planing months in advance for the holiday rushes it’s inevitable. We will be making short runs on products to keep pace, and keep items moving. By close of business Monday, November 30th we will have all inventory updated in each individual product on the website.

All holiday requests will have top priority, and everyone with a holiday request for product is covered. It’s going to come down to timing on when things come back from colors and polish. Once the shop reopens after Thanksgiving break we will be going in split shifts for 18 hours per day to keep up with demand.

Below please find the items that we did run out of of the past several days:

• Coolant Reservoir Covers:
  – Material is ordered. Manufacturing in December, holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• Trackhawk Coolant Reservoir Covers:
  – Material will be ordered the second week of December. Holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• Uni-Strut Covers:
  – Material will be ordered the second week of December. Holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• Water Necks all styles (Hellcat/Demon, Trackhawk, 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L):
  – This is always a given during the sale. We have most everyone covered, and all holiday orders will be filled first. We will have material starting to come in to run off product staring in mid December. Orders will ship in order of receipt after holiday requests are filled.
• Sigma Series Oil Caps:
  – Material will be ordered the second week of December. Holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• PCV Covers:
  – Material will be ordered the second week of December. Holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• Coil Pack Covers:
  – Material will be ordered the second week of December. Holiday requests shipping first, then shipping in order of receipt.
• Manifold Baffle Covers:
  – Material will be ordered in December. However, we have most orders covered with holiday requests taking priority.
• Classic BT Style Under Hood Caps:
  – We are in pretty good shape. We will be running these items all of December to keep pace. Holiday requests have priority. Shipping will then continue in order of receipt.
• Devo Style Strut Covers:
  – We have material here, and as soon as we warp up a non BT job that we are currently making for one of our DOD clients will get those turn off. Probably going to go on the machine late the second week of December.
