Manufacturing Update December 22, 2020

Family good afternoon. Always, our sincerest thanks for all your support, and trust.

Today’s update will be supplemental, letting you know what has come back in, and gone out for finishes. We’ll also hit a few other notes, such as factory color matched batches, stock statues, the holiday sale, and more. Let’s jump in, and get to it.

Holiday Delivery Requested Orders

We have a lot of stuff in assembly, and engraving. We are getting as much out as possible before we close tomorrow afternoon for the Christmas weekend.

We have taken care of all holiday requests first, most have shipped, or will be shipping shortly. If you see your order has come back in, and it was a holiday request, we should have you covered.

We expect that these few lingering orders should go out before the break, as long as there are no issues with engraving, or QC problems.

Most holiday requests have already been sent out, and received by you, our fantastic customers.

Black Went Out

Today we have sent a round of black anodize out for plating. We could see that batch back here before the new year, but more than likely, we’ll have it in house, the first week of January, right after the holidays.

Reds Came Back!

We got back the racing red metallic, and yes, we received the red anodize back that was just sent out on December 18th!! We had several orders in that red anodize batch that requested holiday delivery well after our cutoff date. Big thumbs up to our amazing vendor partners putting in work, and getting it done for us in record time.

Factory Color Matched Batches

On the November 24th update we had a large round of factory color matched items go to get prepped, and coated. We had the orders which requested holiday delivery in those batches. Those orders are in the shop now to be completed, so we can get them out to you.

We are being told by our powder coater, who handles the factory color match finishes, that a good portion of the batches from November 24th will be completed next week. These are the orders which did not request holiday delivery.

We do have a very OLD BATCH of redline red pearl from November out that was wrapping up this afternoon. Chances are we may still see that batch of redline red back tomorrow, and if not, then we expect it early next week.

Speaking frankly, we shall see. The boss club will be going to visit our coating partner on Monday, December 28th to understand where exactly the issues are: be it with the bottlenecks, supply issues, or Covid related. Once we know what’s going on, we will communicate more effectively with you.

After we have completed that batch, we will do another large batch of color matched items.

Due to the situation with Covid we want to give our partners all the benefit of doubt, and work with them during these times. As such, we appreciate your patience, especially those of you who have a factory color match order in with us.

Stock Statuses

We are replenishing inventory daily again, and the team will do another inventory update for you guys next week right after Christmas.

All inventory status that we reported on the December 18th update remains unchanged.

Washer Fluid Caps

As we reported on Friday, December 18th’s update we were out of stock on washer fluid caps.

We have manufactured another quick batch of the 11 and up washer fluid caps (actually moved that up about 10 days). We have satin on the shelf again.

We sent some to black today with some of the under hood kits that went out.

The 05-10 style will be back in stock again right after Christmas.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans we are right on the 7 business days to ship. We have 55 satin units in assembly now. We will have everyone shipped, who ordered through December 18th, out of here by early next week.

We are pushing to get as many out the door tomorrow, along with the colors we have received back in the facility from our vendor partners.

Holiday Starts Tomorrow

Folks don’t forget we will be out of the shop tomorrow starting at 12:30 P.M. to break for the Christmas weekend.

We will return Monday, December 28th with chips flying at 5:00 A.M., eastern time, and phones live at 6:00 A.M. sharp.
