Manufacturing Update February 4, 2022

Good afternoon friends. We have put January in the rear view, and off to February we go. Days are getting longer now as we march closer to Daylight Savings time. Spring will be here before we know it. In the meantime, our team thanks you all for your generous support to start off 2022 and we appreciate the trust you place in our team. These are things are never taken for granted here.

We have several things to cover today so pull up a chair, grab a beverage, and read on. If you are stopping right here and saying “ah no I don’t want to read a doctorate” just pickup the phone and give us a call. We will help you one on one with any questions, or concerns you have.

Inventory & Manufacturing Statuses

First we will get you up to speed on the inventory situation here at the shop. January was a record breaker (again). Last weekend was the best Saturday in new business we have ever done in the month of January.

Your BT Team has been working 18 hours per day, five days a week, as well as every other Saturday, to keep current business moving and replenishing inventory.

The “availability” information for all products is up to date on the website, as of today’s update. You can find that information next to the unit price on each product’s page.

Below you’ll find information on what we are low, or out of stock on, and the ETA of our next MFG run.

Sigma Series Radiator Caps

We are looking at the week of February 21st to have those on for production. We have a handful of back-orders that still need filled. We have shipped partials, or will be shipping partial shipments, on those open orders until we get them on the machine.

Power Steering Reservoir Covers (2005-2010)

We sold out this week. Next manufacturing run will be in early March.

Hellcat (Charger/Challenger) Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

We are sold out. Those will be on the machine again the week of February 21st.

Fuse Box Covers

Fuse boxes all years, all styles, all models… once again we are tapped out.

As we have mentioned before, we need a dedicated machine now just for the fuse box covers. The good news is we have one on order. The bad news is our delivery has slipped again to early April (2022) due to chip shortages.

We will start getting these on a machine this month, and get restocked over the coming weeks. Please call in if you have any questions. We will work as quickly as possible to get them back on the shelf, and start to get the open back orders out for finishes so we can get everyone cleaned up.

Trackhawk & Durango Hellcat Super Charger Reservoir Covers

These also sold out. We have them tentatively scheduled to run the week of February 21st.

Hood Shock Covers for Jeeps & Durangos

We sold out last week, and will knock some more inventory out before month’s end.

Manifold Baffle Covers

We have pushed that manufacturing run out again to the end of February. We have very few open orders left for that part.

We won’t sugar coat it: “The needs of the many here” and in this case with less than 6 open we have more pressing needs for machine time. Regardless we will get them in this month, and make one more production run that should last us through 2022. Then we will retire that product to the BT Vault.

2013 & Up Throttle Body Covers

2013 and up throttle body covers sold out last week. Next production run later this month

Bypass Covers

Hellcat, Trackhawk, TRX, and Durango Hellcat bypass covers sold out last week. Next production run later this month.

Trackhawk & Hellcat Durango Coolant Caps

These sold out yesterday. Next manufacturing run early March or sooner.

Water Necks

We have replenished stock of water necks for Hellcats, TRX, Trackhawks, 5.7, 6.1 and 392 Hemis as well as Hellcat Durangos.

Satin machine finish water necks are shipping now, and colors have also started to go out. We have product on the shelf for new business

Coolant Tank Covers

These are running now, and satin machine finish will start to ship late next week.
Colors will start to go out for finish next week.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers are shipping now.

Colors are starting to come back and shipping as well as custom engravings. We have product on the shelf for new business moving forward.

Catch Cans

Catch cans are in satin machine finish are shipping within 3-5 business days from ordering.

Colors are going out several times per week for finish. Keep checking in with our updates or call us for the most recent information on when your item will go for colors or polish.

Polish Batch is Back & Shipping

Speaking of polish that batch went out on the 31st, and has already come back into the shop. All outstanding polished orders either have shipped, are in assembly, the engrave queue, or packing. Everyone with an open polish order as of February 1st is covered and your parts polished.

FrostBite is Back

The FrostBite Batch, including the add-on batch from January 12th, is back! The team is getting those parts into final processes so we can get them to your door. Please see the tables below for more information.

Color Batches Sent Out

The week we sent out the following finishes:

• White Powder Coat
• Yellow Powder Coat
• Matte Black Anodize
• Standard Red Anodize
• TorRed (both catch cans & under hood pieces)
• F8 Green (catch cans only)
  – Additional under hood pieces will be going out so do not panic if you don’t see your order on the F8 Green table. We needed some radiator caps and oil caps to come off the the mills before we sent that batch. They are done now, in deburr and heading to color on Tuesday of next week.

Destroyer Grey

The Destroyer Grey batch from January will be back here late next week. The awesome folks at CCF out in California are buttoning that batch up right now.

Factory Color Match Batches On Deck

Redline Red, Jazz Blue, Sublime, Octane Red (both catch cans & under hood pieces), and Plum Crazy are bundled up and going to paint Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. We will have most all open orders covered in those finishes with the exception of the coolant tank covers. We will be sending those out for paint, and other finishes, starting at the end of the month.

Jazz Blue Heading into the BT Vault

After we wrap up this Jazz Blue run we will be putting the color into the BT Vault and take orders by request only, same with sublime. This is to “clear the deck” so we can open up some more factory color match finishes.

As you know we do not do any of those processes in house. We do not want to overwhelm our vendor partners and feel we can better serve you and offer some other colors on a group buy basis (very similar to what we have done with the indigo blue).

Final Order Statuses

Folks just a quick FYI if you see your order has come back from finish we will be moving those to “Pending to Ship Status” within 3 days of the items coming back in.

If you have a balance due on your order we will charge your card at that time and expect tracking details within 3-5 days or sooner.

When you see your order move to “Ready To Ship Status” your package will be outbound to you within 48 hours. Any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
