Manufacturing Update / Important Update August 29, 2019

Color/Finish Batches

We have purple and matte purple as well as clear anodize and matte clear coming back today from plating. We are not sending anything out for the remainder of this week on any finishes.

The following colors and finishes are still out with our vendor partners and will pick them up as soon as they are ready.

• Yellow from 08/23
• Octane from 08/23
• Polish from 08/20

Hurricane Dorian

The reason we are not preparing to send anymore parts out is as it looks right now over the holiday weekend our area will be impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

The BT facility will be open all day today (August 29th) per our normal schedule that can be found on our Contact Page. Phones will be live until 4:30 P.M. today and we have teammates working until 10:00 P.M. EST this evening in the shop building product.

We will be shipping as much as we can today (and there is quite a bit of stuff going out). Custom coolant tanks, catch cans, and the colors we have gotten back in over the last two updates we are wrapping those pieces up and getting them ready to ship to you guys and gals. Please keep an eye on your inboxes for your tracking details.

BTHQ will be Closed on Friday

Tomorrow the Billet Tech facility will be closed. The Friday before Labor Day is usually our Family Day where we all head to The Rapids Water Park so the facility would have been closed anyway. However, this Labor Day weekend is different as we will be preparing our homes for the hurricane and helping each other out here with necessary preparations at our homes.  

As long time followers of our brand know, we are a close knit group and we all work hard and play hard together as well as look out for each other. Safety and family will always be first. This is the approach we take with our clients too. For those outside our area in the storms path please be safe and will all see everyone on the other side.

Labor Day Holiday, Next Week’s Schedule

Monday, September 2nd the facility will be closed for the Labor Day Holiday.

September 3rd our plan is to resume normal business.

If we are unable to open because of the storm, we will update all of you through our social media channels, and of course right here on our website.  We will continue to update you on a daily basis as needed. We have a great team here, and our partners Rob and John (who are located in Houston and Charlotte respectively) have access to our social media platforms and also have the ability to keep the site updated live, in real time for you guys and gals.

Hopefully any down time will be minimal, and at best no down time at all. The major factor for us will be electricity. Our building is built like a bomb shelter, and can withstand sustained winds around 160-180 MPH as our facility is solid concrete, and steal beams no tin roof. Our bay doors are rated to 180 MPH. When we can resume work safely we will. We simply ask you all for some understanding, and patience over the coming days.

Ordering During the Storm/Sale

Nothing will change from the stand point of how orders come in. The server is not in state and you will see no disruptions there.

Credit Card Payments

All orders placed via credit card will be AUTHORIZED only. The 30% deposit will be taken to begin work as soon as we resume operations. We will email you a reminder that we are doing so, just as we have done for years.

PayPal Payments

All orders paid via Paypal are instant payments. As we say right in the payment terms link on the website, and on your invoice copy you receive after you place your order (in the Help / Faq Section) if you are not comfortable with that please contact us and will work with you. Help us help you by just reaching out and communicating with our team.

Shipping

As soon as we are able to reopen shipments will resume. Even if there is no power we will be able to ship satin catch cans, and prepare paperwork as we do have a generator that can power electronics and simple tools. Any parts we have in stock will ship also. Once more we simply ask for your patience in the coming days as developments unfold.
