Manufacturing Update January 14, 2022

Good afternoon everyone. Thank you all for checking in today, and most importantly for the trust you place in our team.

Today we mostly will be covering what’s gone out for finishes, and you can see from the tables below we have quite a bit that went to colors this week.

Colors Out

This week we sent a ton of batches out for color. Orange, matte orange, standard black, standard red, titanium, matte titanium, blue, matte blue and clear went out for anodize. Batches of frostbite and destroyer grey went out for color match. Lastly, lime green metallic went out for powder coat (last call for lime green metallic we are discontinuing that color at the end of January).

Red and Black Batches Went Out

The standard red, clear anodize and black anodize that are on the tables as out below will be back here Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. The bulk of those orders were for catch cans. We have two more big batches of red and black going out that will cover a lot of the basic under hood parts such as fuse box covers, the individual caps, etc. We had some product on the machines this week and are ready to bundle those items out and get them finished.

Orange Batch Went Out Monday back in on January 17th

The orange and matte orange both went out on this past Monday, and we are picking that batch up for plating on Monday morning. It’ll be ready for pickup late this afternoon ,so you will see that table as “in and out””. We will get started on those orders asap next week.

Indigo Blue

Family we know you have been patiently waiting on that batch. It will be ready for us to pickup late next week.

Factory Color Match on Deck

Finally as far as colors and finishes go, the next round of factory color match orders that will be heading out for paint are TorRed, Sublime and Plum Crazy.

We have many orders bundled up and ready to go. To avoid overwhelming our painting partners, we will send these batches out as soon as some of the other batches are wrapped up and ready to ship back to us.

We stay in close contact with our vendor partners to coordinate the work we send to them, and the return of the pieces back to us.

Black Catch Can Fittings

Monday we will be picking up another 1500 sets of black fittings we have a whole bunch of catch cans that need those popped in so we can ship them.

If you saw your catch can order had come back from finishes right before the holiday/year end, and it did not ship, it’s because we ran out of black fittings on December 27th. We will have all cans needing black fittings (both in satin and colors that are back in the shop) shipped out of here next week (see the table below to find your order if its ready to ship and has black fittings).

All satin machine finish catch cans ordered are shipping within 3-5 days.

Coil Pack Covers

The winter manufacturing run of coil pack covers will be completed next week. We added another couple bars of material while we could get it. We did this not only to fill back orders, but to also have some on the shelf until we do another run again in the spring.

Satin machine finished coil pack covers have started to ship, we had a few dozen go out this week.

Colors will start to go out for finishes next week. We sent a couple sets our for Frostbite this week since CCF out in California has a batch of Frostbite they are currently working on for us.
