Manufacturing Update January 15, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome, and thank you for all your trust and support. Let’s jump right in, and get started.

Stock Statuses

First all inventory status is up to date on each individual product. When in doubt about anything please call (561.582.6171) or email us regarding stock status or any questions.

Coolant Tank Covers

Speaking of stock status, we have a mountain of big coolant tank covers on order. All orders through January 15th are covered.

We have included a table of covers which are finishing the manufacturing stage, and either preparing to ship, final processes, or send out for color. This includes all finishes and many custom engravings.

If you do not see your order in the table, do not panic we have it. If in doubt email us to confirm.

We currently have 78 orders left to ship, and we have shipped well over 100 units since Halloween. Assuming we do not take another order after today’s business we will have 28 left in inventory.

Many folks wait to see when we are running these again to order. We are running them now, and will be for the next two plus weeks. If you want a cover please place your order soon, they will go very quickly. We can always add material on prior to breaking the machine down for the next job, so now is the time to order.

Coolant Tank Shipping ETAs

Satin machine finished coolant covers, without custom engravings, should start shipping out the last week of January, and into the first week of February.

All colors, and polish, will be going in “waves” starting in early February. We hope to have most of these orders completed even in color in late February and on the way to you.

These parts are time consuming, and many have designer cut edges after they come back from finish. The bulk of these orders are from People’s Sale and December. Please know the team is not slacking, and is working hard to wrap these up.

Many of these covers had additional items on order, so we have shipped partial shipments to you guys and gals. If you have an upcoming event in late February or into March and you need your coolant tank cover call (561.582.6171) or email us so we can add a need by date to your order.

Coil Pack Covers

Another product we got a ton of orders on over the holidays are the coil pack covers. Those are on the machine now. As of this update we will have approximately 20 sets left, after we fill current business.

If you are thinking of getting a set now would be the time, these sell quickly. We can always add another couple bars of stock as needed to keep going until we break that end machine down, and setup a new job next week.

Once we sell these out we won’t run anymore again until sometime in April.

Satin Catch Cans

All satin catch cans ordered through January 14th are shipped or in shipping. Satin catch cans are shipping in 3-5 days from date or order.

Black Batch from December 5th

We posted on the January 10th update that the black from December 5th was tentative to be in by the 14th. We have received a partial batch back, and the balance will be back within the day. Our anodizer was wrapping that up, and we will go get it as soon as we have the thumbs up.

Family the bulk of those orders were from The People’s Sale, and there were over 2000 unique pieces to be plated in that batch. This includes not just individual caps, but accessory pieces such as mounts, hose ends, and general assembly parts to complete our products.

You will start to see tracking details on these orders in the next couple of days, and right on through the end of this month.

Our Anodizer is Hustlin’

Speaking of anodize our plater is SWAMPED. Just a heads up that once you see your orders for any matte colors, red, black, blue, purple, orange, or copper expect those orders to be out, and not come back to us for at least 3 weeks.

Our vendor partners are the best in the biz, and we remain loyal to them, the service they provide truly enhances our already awesome satin machine finished items.  

Powder Coating Lead Times

Powder coating finishes such as racing red, lime green, white and yellow we are looking at approximately 7-14 day turn around. This is from the time we send the items out, until they return to us for final processes.

Color Matched Lead Times

Color matched items in jazz blue, octane red, red line red, and destroy grey as we have mentioned these are the longest lead-times.

We do expect to see MAJOR improvement in this first quarter of 2020 as our partner ramps up the ability to produce quicker turn arounds. As we see this start to happen, we will add even more factory finishes to the lineup.

Batches Still Out for Color

Below please find a listing of what finishes are still out to be completed and the dates and ETA on when we expect those items back to us. If you have questions just reach out and email or call us.

• Destroyer Grey from 11/5 and 12/12. Most of the 11/5 batch is completed and the batch from 12/12 is completed. All parts from both those batches should be back here late next week or early the week of January 20th. These are the oldest orders and will have the HIGHEST Priority as soon as we have them all back here. Family it will be worth the wait we promise.
• Octane Red from 12/12 will be coming back mid next week. Those parts are being finished now.
• Matte black from 12/17 will be back by early next week those orders are being worked on right now (confirmed after dropping off our plating round today)
• Purple from 01/10 is out ETA end of the month
• Black from 01/07 is out. ETA end of the month.
• Blue from 01/10 is out. ETA end of the month.

Once more all orders now going out for anodize please expect around three weeks lead-time, from the time the batches leave our facility until they return to our facility.

Lead Time for Final Processes

A friendly reminder as we get some of these bigger batches of orders returning to us; please allow us 7-15 days to complete any final processes such as engravings, or assembly, prior to shipping. Need it quicker and your order is back? Call (561.582.6171) or email us so we can work with you.

BT Vault Release: Interior Parts

As we move into the new year, and into what will be our 15th year as a brand later this summer, we never forget where we came from.

BT began by working with the people to bring as many “dream” products to market. We developed those parts with direct suggestions from our customer base back in the forum days, before social media. We continue that tradition now with each and every new product.

We are excited to let you know we are going back to where it all started and reaching into the BT Vault. The following items will be available next week to order again but for a limited time:

• 2005-2010 Window Switch Kits including the mirror control knob
• 2005-2010 A/C knobs (Including Challenger)
• 2005-2010 Headlight knobs
• 2005-2010 Cruise control stalk cover
• 2008-2014 Dodge Challenger Cup Holder Bezels.

Look for a separate new article to launch on these old school BT Vault Items early next week.

Folks with the new models we have you covered, and will be releasing those after we pay our respects to the OG’s of the community. We wanted to take it back to the beginning fist, as a tip of the hat to owners such as several owners within our own organziation that still have our early builds, and as a reminder never forget where you come from.

Shipping Dept is Slammed

A final friendly reminder; we are literally swamped in shipping and receiving. As parts and products come back in, or off the machine in satin machine, finish to ship to you.

You may see your order sit in ‘ready to ship status’ for a couple of days. Please do allow the lovely Andrea to do her thing which is clean, and package your parts with care, boxing them like fine China.

NO Shrink wrap on cardboard here. Packaging is as important as your work. The first impression a company makes with its customers is the initial reach out via phone or email, and then the packaging.
