Manufacturing Update January 18, 2019

Good afternoon everyone.

Welcome, and thank you for your support, but most importantly thank you for your trust. Without you we would not be doing this and we will never take that for granted.

Quality First, Always

As the holidays now get further in our rearview mirror we are deep into replenishing inventory and filling ALL orders that were not holiday requests. Friends we know you are anxious for your parts. We have a ton of parts ready to go to plate, powder coat and polishing. Quality will always be first priority here and we will be sending batches out now frequently as we have started to roll off parts again the first two weeks of January.

Our vendor partners share our passion for beautiful finishes and attention to details. Its why we limit the number of pieces in each “lot” batch that is sent out. Individual orders are kept together if more than one item was ordered to ensure color matching, especially on anodize.

First off lets talk about inventory and some of the biggest sellers from the sale. We posted an inventory table a few weeks back but will address each one here as well.

Catch Cans & the New Machine

Catch Cans are back up and running! Friends, thank you. This is our biggest seller month in and month out. We produce between 1100 and 1200 units per month. If you follow along with our updates on a regular basis you know we took cans out of production in late December to rebuild the spindle on the Okuma and also we would be taking delivery of our new live tooling lathe that has now arrived.

Our other lathe is and will be tied up on other work until sometime in mid April. As painful as it is to take your most in demand item out of production we did it at the time when it would be the least amount of grief. We shipped the inventory we had on hand in satin to our customers with satin finished orders. If you followed along on the other updates prior and the last inventory table we posted you see we depleted that stock in no time.

Once we really dial the new machine in coupled with the Okuma coming back up and on line in the shop we will finally be able to get ahead of the demand. We know you have choices and the fact that you continue to come here and support us knowing you wait, is extremely humbling.

We are making these capital improvements to our facility because of you guys, and gals to better serve you. Two machines will now be fully dedicated to catch can production here at the shop and by the end of the quarter we should start to see drastic improvements on shipping satin cans immediately and colors much quicker.

Inventory

Coolant Reservoir covers

Material is ordered and first cuts will take place by the end of the month

Coil Pack Covers

These will be making chips in early February.

Fuse Box Covers

Fuse Box covers are manufactured. Satin will start to ship late next week, colors are going out now keep an eye on the updates or give us a call.

Water Necks

These are in manufacturing now and will go to colors starting late this month and into early February.

Hellcat Water Necks

These are partially machined as soon as we knock out some catch can’s will pop those back on the new lathe and knock them out 100% completed. We know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for your part some going into September.

We promise you once you open that box up and see that part you will be blown away. Its one of the most visually stunning pieces we have ever produced.

Radiator Caps & Supercharger Coolant Caps

Both are manufactured and heading to colors now.

Oil Dip Sticks

These are manufactured and heading to colors now.

Power Steering Caps

These caps are on the machine and will go to colors starting later this month and into early February.

Brake Fluid Caps

Material is ordered and will start machining those next week.

Lighter Deletes

These will not go on the machine until mid February. We only have a few orders of those. For those of you with one on order we appreciate you and your patience.

Washer Fluid Caps

Washer fluid caps are manufactured and heading to colors now and all through the month.

3.5, 3.6, 5.7 & 392 Oil Caps

Oil caps will be on the machine mid next week with colors to go out starting early February.

Uni-Strut Covers

Material will be here the first week of February with production to start early February. Satin will ship mid February colors and polish later in February.

Orange and Racing Red are Back

Folks we received the orange is back as well as the racing red metallic. We are sorting those parts now and preparing to complete all final processes such as engraving and assemblies. Please allow us 7-14 days to get your items wrapped up and shipped to you. If you need it sooner please call (561.582.6171) or email us so we can get you moved up.

Big Batch of Red Anodize

Finally today we sent a whole bunch of red anodize out (non matte). There is more in the pipe but we do not want to overwhelm our plater with too much at one time. Please know we work with the most amazing supplier partners in the industry, and the quality of the process is the primary focus. With that said many of these orders also included catch cans and hood prop covers as part of a complete package that customers order all together.

Please be sure to read the comments on those order tables. Catch Cans and hood props are in manufacturing and will go to all finishes including red starting the end of the month.

We have MANY stand alone catch cans in all colors that will start bundling those up and getting them ready to go to finishes here before the end of the month now that we are back in production.
