Manufacturing Update January 19th, 2017

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to the latest update.

We have quite a bit of anodize (color) that has come back in this week, and we also have more items that went out to colors this week too and those tables will be found after this brief written update.

First all products are 100% current on availability as of January 18th. Please be sure to look at the bottom of the written description of each product for the “Lead-Time” info and also you can find how to care for your products in tabs there too. We are still in that holiday extended lead-time at the moment so please allow a bit long on your color or polish items. With our plater back in full swing now for two weeks are are getting very good turnaround on large quantities that we are sending out and that means we can get to work faster on getting the final processes done here to get your parts on the way.

As we have let you know in some of the fun facts we post the quantity of unique parts we sell to you that has gone for finish is incredible. Over 3,000 pieces have gone for color since the start of the New Year. Thats amazing and we have you to thank for its not and we are continually replenishing inventory here each week as needed when it comes to machine finish blanks.

Couple of things we need to address as far as bottlenecks.

Catch Cans

Catch Cans yes that item always seems to be front and center. We never stop production folks it continually runs here. Sometimes support pieces for the can may lag in behind the can itself. We should be back on point after the massive countdown units we sold, and also thru current business on lead-time and ahead of the curve towards the end of the month. Our standard info on cans is 2 weeks on satin and we will be at that and ahead buy the end of this month. Any satin orders that are getting a little “long in the tooth” we are getting those put together and ready to roll out of here next week and into the following week. We have had a lot of color come back in this week for prior business that have started to ship. We did screw up and did not inventory our breather filters for the blow off catch cans and we ran out with close to two dozen ready to go without a filter. We will have those filters here early next week put them on and ship you your blow off can. All colors will be back on lead-time or ahead by the end of January and into the first week of February.

Under Hood Kits

Under hood kits and the individual pieces that make those kits up as well as those pieces we sell individually are on a continually running basis too. We are building “just in time” to replenish as we run out. Demand for all our product has been high even into the first part of this year. Once more ya all are amazing and we appreciate that you have choices and still chose to come and shop with us. With that said, we are out of low pressure and high pressure a/c port caps both classic BT style and sigma series however, we will be replenishing that machine finish inventory before months end material will be here late in the week of the 23rd for us to get those done.

Park Lock Outs

We have a very limited supply left on those. It’s been a great run for nearly 10 years on that item but as with everything the “shelf life” dictates that we retire that product from production. Too many other things to work on and new items we will be producing for other brands in 2017. Once the last of these pieces sells that will be it and it will be off to the vault and discontinued. We saved THOUSANDS of people a lot of money over the years from having to buy the whole factory gear box on those 05-07 vehicles and thats a good thing. Its been a blast and we thank you for your prior business on that part.

Sunday Production

Finally as it relates to production we will be adding Sunday’s on as a full day of production starting either January 29th or February 5th. This will be shop only no phones or office.

Below you will now find what has come back from plate, and what has gone out over the past couple of days. Over the next 7-10 days we will be sending out more blue, more black, more matte black and titanium. Possible green as well but it looks like the next round of green will be in early February.
