Manufacturing Update January 21, 2022

Folks good afternoon and welcome to Friday. It’s update time.

First and always THANK YOU everyone for your patience and support. Please know we do not take you for granted. We are in the long winter months now. We know many of you are getting antsy, especially those of you who ordered during The Peoples Sale and on many of the factory color match orders that have not shipped yet.

People’s Sale & December Orders

As far as the People’s Sale and December orders that were not holiday requests we are deep into those now

The team is not only deep into the non-holiday delivery orders from the People’s Sale and December but even going a bit further back on things we were out of stock on or factory color match. Many of these orders are at finish and have not come back in yet. We have a bunch of stuff bundled up and on deck to go out for finishes next week so we should be cleaning up a vast majority of the outstanding orders here by the end of February and we are staying on point with new business too.

Inventory & Manufacturing Runs

Inventory for each product is up to date on the website in the availability area next to the unit price.

Coil Pack Covers

We are wrapping up our production run now.

Satin machine finishes have started to ship. Colors have started to go out for finish, with a bunch of sets bundled up, and ready to go to finish next week.

Whenever we announce a manufacturing run for coil pack covers, we get an influx of orders. So we added two more bars of material to keep them running while they were on the machine.

We do have sets left for new business moving forward, so if you are interested in a set reach out to us.

Coolant Tank Covers

Chips are flying! We know many of you have orders that are old, old and older! Satin machine finish tank covers will start to go out in about 10-14 days.

We changed some tooling and and made some adjustments to the program. We are manufacturing just a tad over 500 units, and we will have a few dozen left to put on the shelf for business moving forward. This is truly a “monolith” type of piece under the hood of your car. It’s not cheap by any means, an extremely solid part.

We do a lot of fun customizations on that particular piece. Nick Billet and John have been working on several custom works of art, in preparation for customer approval. We will start getting into engraving those all through February.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping in 3-5 days from day of ordering.

If you need us to ship your product the next business day after you order it let us know in the comments section if ordering online. If you’re ordering by phone let the friendly BT rep helping you, know you need it asap, and we will take care of the rest.

Colors In, Colors Out

This week we sent a batch of racing red metallic out for color. We got the batches of standard red, standard black, and clear anodize back. The batches of lime green metallic and yes, indigo blue are also back in house.

You can find information on those batches in the tables below the article. If you have any questions, or need additional information don’t hesitate to call (561.582.6171) or email us.

If you see your order has come back in from color, please allow us 10-15 business days to complete any final processes before we ship your order out.

Batches Still Out

The following colors are still out:

• Polish from 01/07
  – It will back for sure next week. We have several old orders in there also. Polish is a finish that gets hot and cold. We only had a handful of polish orders, then as it always the case, the holiday sales events here spiked that finish. We have most everyone covered who has a polish order in house with us.
• Frostbite from 01/13
  – This batch should be back in about a week or so. We have started to contact the customers with older orders to see if you still want your bling, and get your payment details again.
• Destroyer Grey from 0/13
  – Same as the frostbite above. We are about a week out and we are contacting anyone with an order that is as old as ancient Rome to see if you still want your order and to take payment details.
• Titanium and Matte Titanium from 01/17
  – This batch will be back next week
• Blue and Matte Blue from 01/17
  – The blue batch will also be back next week.

Color Batches On Deck

The following finishes are on deck to go out:

• TorRed
• Sublime
• Jazz Blue
• B5 Blue
• Plum Crazy Purple

Last Call: Sublime & Lime Green Metallic

Last call for Sublime. We see very few orders for that finish. We had less than a handful to fill until the holidays hit. So we are wrapping them up and then we’ll discontinue that color.

We can still do it by request only but you will need to call in so we can discuss the details with you. It will be off the website by the end of the month

Another color we will be discontinuing is lime green metallic. Very similar situation to Sublime. We will do any orders by special request after the end of this month, but you will need to call in for that.

As mentioned previously, we did get a batch of lime green metallic in this week.

Factory Color Match

Folks expect factory color match orders to take some time. We are using two vendors, sending out batches two colors at a time.

Both vendor partners are working hard for you (and for us). They are finding workarounds for the challenges all businesses are facing presently.

Is It Worth The Wait?

Yes, we promise you it will be worth the wait.

We frequently hear from our customers (who were riding the fence, unsure of if they should bail on their order, or wait it out) how glad they are to have stayed the course once their order arrives. Hearing the excitement in their voices, and knowing how much it means to you, and to us is a special bond.

Some of the best friendships and relationships we have developed over the years were the customers who were ready to go full nuclear and burn the place down!

Seriously, we understand, and don’t mind you venting. Please keep it PG. After we get to know you, you can have some fun with us. Like you, we are just regular working folks who enjoy a good sense of humor and to have fun while we are working.

Life is full of challenges, smiling and enjoying where we are at in the moment is so important, especially in today’s crazy world.
