Manufacturing Update January 23, 2019

Good afternoon everyone, as always thank you for your support and trust. Today’s article is a supplemental update, short and to the point.

Don’t Panic!

If you see an order has gone out and your order number is lower than what has gone to get plated, please do not panic. Chances are a few parts need to be machined before we send your complete order out for plating, this ensures the color is consistent on all of your parts.

Remember when in doubt please just give us a call (561.582.6171) or email us. Leave those digits if you get the voicemail, so we can call you back.

Catch Cans

Folks as posted the other day cans are back in production after a 3 week hiatus (discussed in previous updates). All satin back orders will start shipping mid to late next week. We will have stock moving forward into the second week of February.

Satin Catch Cans

We are posting a table for satin catch cans as of January 16th. These are stand alone orders with no other items shipping out with them.

We have another 130 satin cans that are on order that are part of orders with multiple items purchased.

Do not worry. You order will be assembled and placed with your job bin to ship with the balance of the parts you may have ordered.

Color Catch Cans

Folks we have over 1,276 color catch cans ordered at the present time. You will begin to see these orders going out for finish starting late next week, and into the first week of February. All of these cans are on schedule to be completed in February.

If you have a need by date you must have your product by please reach out to us (email or phone: 561.582.6171) so we can get your job ticket notated and moved to the Hot List. Team BT will do all we can to meet your need by date.

Our vendor partners are the best at what they do, and share the same approach we do: never cutting corners sacrificing the quality of our products. We do not push our vendor partners for this reason. We know that when parts go out for finishes, we will receive a beautifully finished part when they return.

Restocked Items

We have replenished inventory on the following parts:

Radiator & Coolant Caps (classic BT style)
Oil Dip sticks
Power Steering Caps
Washer fluid caps
Fuse box covers (all styles)
3.5, 3.6, 5.7 and 392 Oil caps.

The stock status of every part is up to date in the store. The stock status can be found in the “Availability” field, located within each product’s full description.

3MM Spacers

The one product that was not low on last weeks update was the 3MM Spacers. We had a flurry of orders on those this past week and our on hand supply is running low. Chances are good we will sell out very soon.

The team will be running these again by the middle of February. Once we put them on the machine we are usually restocked the same day. When in doubt give us a call (561.582.6171) or email us.

F8 & Jazz Blue Metallic

For those of you who ordered F8 and Jazz Blue Metallic items we are bundling up those items now in preparation for those finishes.

You will start to see those orders in the Manufacturing Updates next week. We are working on more factory color matches so stay tuned!!

Lead Time for Final Processes

Family if you see your order is back please allow us 7-14 days to complete any final processes prior to shipping. If you think this will interfere with an upcoming event you are attending, reach out to us so we can get that completed to your schedule.
