Manufacturing Update January 8th, 2013

First and always many thanks for your support in 2012 and a very Happy New Year to all our friends and customers.  We never forget the simple fact that without your support we could not do what we love to do. BT will stay dedicated to our craft and to your satisfaction.

Things are running smooth in the shop.  All of our suppliers are back from the holidays and working full steam again.  Below you will find a current stock status on our products.

We are running approximately one week behind our standard lead-time of 20 business days and this will more than likely be the case right on thru the week of January 21st.

There are a few areas that have had some issues and/or lag time so here is the scoop on those items:

Purple Anodize

• Our staff rejected two rounds of purple anodize in late November and right before the holidays due to the color being more lavender than dark purple.
• We are pleased to report we do have purple that is back in house and is currently being engraved and finished up to ship to you.
• Many orders have already left the facility and are on the way.
• If you had an outstanding order in for any purple products thru December 18th your orders are shipping daily and all orders thru December 18th will be filled and shipped by January 15th.

Pedal Kits

• All Pedal kits ordered right thru December 31st are covered.
• They are all done and we are fly cutting them this week.
• Most kits will be shipped and out the door by January 15th.

Throttle Body Covers 2013 & Up

• We are currently sitting at 4 orders for these.
• We have not forgotten you, and we are running Throttle Body Covers this week and will allot a batch to be manufactured as 2013’s
• We do apologize for the delay here and we are moving forward for folks with those years right now.

Engine Inserts

• We only have one open order is house.
• We are looking at discontinuing this product.
• Please call or email us your thoughts as to whether or not you would like us to continue to offer this product.

A Note About Engine Inserts
We always do our best to shoot straight with you guys and gals and in all honesty is difficult to break down a machine to do just one or two engine inserts. The fact has always been nearly 100% of the time they have always been custom in the past.  Maybe we can offer a group buy if there is enough people interested.  We are moving the lead-time out on those now to 10 weeks until we decide what to do.  Your feed back will help.

Coil Pack Covers

• All open orders thru the first on January are covered and shipping daily.
• We do have some left over.
• Once our supply is gone we will not run them again until the 4th quarter of this year.

Strut Covers

• Both styles are back in stock and shipping.
• If you have a color or polish order outstanding we will have those all filled by the week of January 21st thru the week of January 28th.

Water Necks

• Water Necks both tapped and untapped are in stock.
• Color and polish have started to ship.

Valve Covers

We have been getting a lot of requests to do another run of valve covers.  We are interested in your feedback so call or email us and let us know if you would like to see another manufacturing run.  Please only inquire if you are serious as this is something we will need to plan for accordingly.
