Manufacturing Update July 12, 2022

Good afternoon BT Family. Welcome to the first update for July 2022. We usually get an update in right after our July 4th mini break. However, with several of our 10 member team out the week of July 4th on vacation, we were stretched thin and stayed focused on the manufacturing side to keep things moving and most importantly getting all of that old Octane Red out of here.

Factory Color Match

Speaking of the factory color match the following finishes are still due back in to us:

• B5 Blue
• Redline Red
• F8 Green
• Smoke Show
• Indigo Blue
• Frostbite
• Jazz Blue
• Plum Crazy.

Friends at this point until the batches have arrived at back at the shop, we can only pass on info that is provided to us. We talk to our painter each week and those batches are moving along.

The B5 was in final polish stage late last week and is due back here within the week. Immediately followed by Redline and F8 Green. We are at the mercy of the shipping companies once they leave the painters on their way from the West Coast to sunny Florida.

Please know if you have a factory color match we appreciate you being patient. If you need to vent call on in and vent.

Anodize, Powder Coat, & Polish Lead Times

All other finishes: anodize, powder coat, polish and our satin machine finish are moving and shipping usually within 30 days.

Colors In, Out and On Deck

We have received yellow and black back in. Those parts are sorted and heading in for final processes behind the Octane Red.

Other than the factory color match orders listed above, we have standard red, orange and matte orange, white and lime green metallic batches still out. The red and orange will be done this week.

White and lime green could quite possibly be ready for pick up this week. It’s more likely those batches will be ready for us to pick up from powder coat next week.

We do have more yellow, matte black, clear anodize, polish, as well as purple and matte purple that have gone out for finish. Please see the tables below for details.

Inventory Update

Folks we do have some product status we need to update you on.

PCV Covers

We are shipping PCV Covers in satin machine finish, PCV Caps also. Colors are starting to head out for finishes. In fact we have some yellow that came in yesterday and matte black.

Hellcat & Demon Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

These sold out over the July 4th weekend. We have a few that will be on back order. We are ordering material next week so we can begin manufacturing the week of July 25th.

Water Necks (Thermostat Housing)

Hellcat (Charger and Challenger), as well as Demon (Challenger) water necks sold out over July 4th weekend. Material will be ordered next week. We want to have those on a machine the week of July 25th.

2005-2010 Throttle Body Covers

We have material due in early next week and we will start our final manufacturing run on those years.

Sadly the drop off in overall sales for the 2005-2010 parts was inevitable, and we are retiring them to the vault after this run. Based on the pace they move, we should have stock to last us into early 2023.

Fuse Box Covers (all years, all styles)

Fuse Box Covers are now the number one seller here at BT. We pretty much have them running and engraving every day at this point.

We’ll keep this up as long as we can keep material coming in. To stay ahead of the supply chain issues, we are ordering out in advance now in anticipation of delays.

Coil Pack Covers

These are manufacturing now. Material came in a week early so we started running them last week.

Satin machine finish parts are shipping now, and we have colors out on the table below.

As of today’s update we have 4 sets left to sell from this run. We will not run these again until sometime in late September or October.

Coolant Tank Cover

Coolant tank cover material is ordered.  ETA to our shop on those drops is the week of July 25th.  We may get suprised as we did with the coil pack covers. If we it earlier those covers will go on for manufacturing within the day.  Stay tuned here on our updates and of course call in for the latest info.  

Uni-Strut Covers

We pushed this manufacturing run back to later in the week, as the coil pack covers had the oldest orders.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin Catch Cans are shipping in 1-3 days from date of ordering.
