Manufacturing Update July 19, 2019

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the weekend. We are halfway through July, and the year is flying. Thank you for all your support and trust. We are so humbled and thankful to be part of your ownership experiences.

Today will be just a supplemental update to let everyone know what has gone out, and come back in from our awesome vendor partners. Please have a look at the tables below.

Finishes/Color Batch Updates

We will be getting all the standard red back from the June 26th update as well as the matte black from June 20th update early next week. Those two batches were in process when we picked up our blue, matte blue as well as the matte red today.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping in one to three business days. All satin catch cans ordered through July 17th are on the way to your door steps. All orders from July 18th and any new business today and over the weekend will be shipping to you by Wednesday of next week. Cans will continue to go out in batches to colors and polish several times a week. Please keep checking in with our updates or just give us a call if you need current lead time information.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tank covers in satin machine finish are shipping out to you guys and gals. We sent several out to finish this week. The orders are coming in big time so we are continuing to run them on the back machine so we have stock moving forward. Many of you are watching the updates and know we are making them and placing your orders now.

We broke them into two waves of manufacturing and due to the amount of customers who have who have placed orders here in the past couple weeks, we ordered more material yesterday to keep running them through the remainder of the month. We were scheduled to break down the back machine early next week but we want to be sure we have product available for new orders and future business.  

The chips are flying from 5:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. M-F in the shop to avoid disruptions in production but keeping the coolant tanks on and running through the remainder of the month. We keep several fixtures and vises loaded on the machines to run parts on split shift which we may not get on during the day shift. Yes there are still 10 of us here, and we rotate hours to make sure things continue to run and flow as smoothly as possible.  

Lead Time for Final Processes

Thats going to do it for today friends. Please remember to allow us 7-14 days to complete any final processes such as engraving, or assembly of your catch cans (or both as many customers have all items on order) prior to shipping your orders to you.
