Manufacturing Update July 21, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. If you’re an O.G. checking in, we thank you. If you a new customer, or just doing some due diligence, welcome.

Colors In. One Went Out

Today’s update will be brief. We received the orange, and matte orange in. We also received the plum powder coat just in time for today’s update.

We sent a round of lime green metallic out to be finished today and you will find those orders in the tables below today’s update.

A Note About the Orange Batch

Several pieces were done in matte orange inadvertently instead of the standard anodize orange. We have a lot of pieces in the batch we got back, and Neal, as well as Andrea, are sorting through the items now.

We had extras of each so we need to take stock of the orders with multiple pieces on them, and see if, and where ,we may come up short.

We will be reaching out individually, to anyone that is affected by this to let you know there may be a slight delay. Not to worry, We have inventory in satin fish to cover everyone. We will be sending out another round of orange to get anyone who’s order has been affected, completed quickly, and your items shipped to you.

Batches on Deck for Color

We are currently bundling up batches for black and red anodize, in both standard and matte finishes. We will be sending these parts out for plating later this week, or early next week. Keep an eye out for them in upcoming updates.

The Mill & Lathe are ALIVE!!

If you have been reading our recent updates, you know we had two machines down. The mill came back up on line on Sunday, and the lathe is up and making chips today.

Valve covers are finishing up on the mill so we can get those orders out to color, and one step closer to getting them to you.

The lathe will be designer cutting some items that require turning as first things on deck (we have several hood prop covers here, and a/c knob kits that need that done). Then we will be putting on the catch can accessory pieces. We are running low on items such as the nose mounts and connector hardware.

Next week we will pop the Devo style strut covers in, and get those knocked out as some of the orders are getting quite old, even for our standards.

When we come back later this week we will have a full production report posted including what’s up on deck to for us to manufacture and replenish.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans continue to ship within 3-5 business days. If you need us to ship you one the next business day, simply call in to us just let us know over the phone you need it to go immediately and will get it handled.

Placing an order online? Just drop a note in the comments section to “ship asap or ship the next day”, and we will get it done for you.
