Manufacturing Update June 10, 2022

Good afternoon everyone. It’s Friday, and it’s update time.

Family and friends we ALWAYS thank you for the amazing support and trust you place in our team. We appreciate you all very much. Times are uncertain for all of us, and yet you keep sending us your business.  Thank you will never be enough.  

Many of our long time customers continually check in with us to see how we are doing and if we need anything. This is why we always say in many of our social media postings it really is the connections made beyond the bling in the box. Team BT is, and always will, remain truly humbled and grateful.

Supply Chain Issues

Folks we are still very very busy and have you to thank for that. As we covered in the last several updates, we are running in to issues sourcing certain size materials, tooling etc, but we are working around it. We are manufacturing more hardware and fittings in house now to keep things moving forward.

This is not just a BT problem, but a problem all over. Our team is forecasting out further on material requirements to help compensate for the longer lead times, etc. It’s always been order just in time or JIT on material here. Now we are ordering several weeks in advance so we don’t have machines sitting, and you waiting any longer than the standard BT lead times.

Inventory

Stock status (availability) on each product will be updated Monday. We will go through everything again with a hand count Monday. When in doubt just give us a call.

Satin Machine Finish Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days from ordering.

Fittings

We got a big batch of black and nickel fittings in this week. There were some delays on cans with those eblow fittings as we waited for those to arrive.

All those back orders are shipped or in shipping now, and we have everyone filled and in with Andrea to pack through June 8th. Tracking details will be hitting your inboxes, by Monday, June 13th if that info has not already.

Factory Color Match

Factory color match orders are still a hot potato here.

First and always thank you for your patience.

Yes, some of them go back to The People’s Sale, and some go back (some coolant tanks a bit further than that). Please know if we could ship it sooner we would. Our painter is working hard.

When we get the items back, the factory color match stuff bumps everything else out of the way, and goes right in to assembly and to any final process such as engraving. We want these cleaned up asap and in your hands. We will do all we can to ensure you are thrilled with what you receive and we are here for you to vent at us.

Here is the latest info:

• Indigo Blue went out last week (we expect those orders here later this month)
• Frostbite Blue is leaving the BT facility Monday. We had a few more fuse boxes to get off the machine and some washer fluid caps. Order Table will be on next weeks update
• Plum Crazy is out and on the way to the west coast, and we are adding to it. Order Table will be on next week’s update. Heidi has emailed everyone with an open Plum Crazy order that the orders are out for paint. She will be going through those again over the weekend to reconfirm that no one was missed on the emails.
• The next round of Sublime will be going to paint late next week.
• Octane Red will be arriving here at the shop Monday or Tuesday of next week. Parts are inbound to us.
• B5 Blue will be here late next week. Delayed by a couple days at paint, and is now curing and then the finial polish.
• Smoke Show, F8 Green, and Redline Red and Destroyer Grey will be painted next week. Those orders will be back the week of June 20th.  All dates are subject to change and know we, and our partner will do all we can to hold to these dates.  

White & Racing Red Metallic are Back

We have received back our batches of White and Racing Red Metallic powder coat. We are assembling the catch cans to prepare to ship the stand alone orders next week.

All orders that require engraving are in the shop and in the queue to be completed and shipped within the next week to 10 days.

Batches Out & On Deck

Folks we did send a batch of red out this week.

We will be sending Matte Black, Matte Red, Orange, Purple, and Matte Purple along with more Polish next week.

Satin Machine Finish Parts

Satin Machine Finished products, as long as we have stock, ship within 2 weeks or sooner. We keep all our items in blank satin finish on the shelf.
