Manufacturing Update March 19, 2019

Good afternoon everyone. As we must open all updates we sincerely say thank you for all your support but most importantly your trust.

Todays update will be a supplemental to let you know what’s gone out for finishes and some brief information to keep you generally informed on what’s up here at the facility.

Team BT will be at Spring Fest

Friends members of Team BT (John, Nick and Rob) will be attending Spring Fest in Pomona, California March 22nd and March 23rd. Please look for our team out there and introduce yourselves to them. HEMIBear and the boys will be out and about all weekend, racing, hanging out and more. Keep them in line.

Burleson is debuting his Widebody Hellcat Redeye at SF14. Burls and Nick have been working on his kit since last year. You’ll be able to see two new finishes: Destroyer Grey and Redline Red Pearl.  You can see the new ride parked in the VIP section at Spring Fest this weekend.  

The Team at the Shop Isn’t Slowing Down

While those three are in SoCal, the shop is open for normal business, with the office fully staffed. There will be absolutely no interruptions in production, or customer service (phones, emails etc).

Please remember if you do get the voicemail, we are a small company (10 of us here) and we wear many hats. We may be picking up parts from plating or powder coating or in the shop and not at our desks to grab the phone. Leave your call back number, and we will call you back ASAP.

Catch Cans

Friends catch cans are running all the time and just some brief info below:

• Satin cans for Ram Trucks ordered between February 25th and 27th we have about a dozen of those and they will be shipping in the next week. We had QC problems with the brackets and have those coming off the machine now and heading into assembly.
• All satin cans ordered between February 26th and March 5th will be shipping in the next 7-10 days.
• All satin cans ordered between March 6th through March 15th will be shipping by the the end of the month and into the first week of April.

If you need us to ship your satin can sooner please call (561.582.6171) or email us so we can get you moved up in the assembly que and shipped in the next couple of days.

Fittings

We are once again stretching our supplier partners to their limits on fittings, mostly powder coated fittings and nickel plated fittings. So we have a bit of a hold up as we wait for those fittings to come back in, from outside services. At the moment we have 1500 sets out for nickel plating and 2100 sets out for black powder coating. Those will be back before the end of the month. We are building and shipping cans ordered with brass fittings.

Back to Standard Lead Time in April

We will be back on schedule lead time wise (20) business days or sooner) on colors starting in early April. Our supplier partners have done an amazing job for us producing the amazing high quality colors during this high volume push. We can’t not express our appreciation for your patience as we make this push to delivery your items to you.

Folks with orders out a purple and matte purple (February 8th and February 26th) your items are in the process of being completed now at our plater and will be getting those items back in the next several days.

Team BT appreciates all of you guys and gals for your patience.  Today we have sent out matte, red, titanium and matte titanium as well as jazz blue to be processed.  If you see your order is not on the matte red especially please do not panic.  We will be adding to that in the coming days under fresh batch.  The matte red has been crazy here and we are still bundling items up to be sent.  Call us if you have any questions or are confused on the updates.
