Manufacturing Update March 22nd, 2018

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to another edition of our Manufacturing Updates.  As always our mission with these updates, is to provide accurate and timely information concerning your order as it travels through the manufacturing process.  With that let’s get started.

Products’ Online Stock Status

The stock statuses of all items in the store are up to date as of this morning (located in the “availability section next to the product price).  Please be mindful if we do put an ETA on when we will be running product again we do our best to keep within that time frame.  Sometimes it will move in, sometimes it may get pushed back. Because we actually make our own product and work with the very best outside suppliers for our materials and our plating, polishing and powder coating you are assured of receiving the best products period.

However, just as we are busy, our supplier partners are very busy also.  We never rush them, when the job is completed, it’s completed.  If we need a batch expedited we ask and we know our partners will work hard to make that happen.

This is why we tell you up front if you don’t want to wait, can’t wait, or are impatient we will not be the company for you. Want the best products then welcome we are pleased to have you as part of the family.  

Catch Cans

Catch cans, yes catch cans!  The living breathing entity of our brand, the original, often copied (right on down to the actual look but more importantly) the two chambered top that makes it work, is continually in production here and shipping. We build over 1200 units per month and each and every one is sold before the last one comes off and the next one goes on. Between machine satin, all the colors and polish we have a continual flow moving in and out of the facility… daily.

Catch Can Lead Times

All satin catch cans from February 15 until this mornings batch are covered and in various stages of either custom engrave, assembly, final or packaging.  We are sitting at about 15 days give or take to ship on satin cans.  All your colors and polished items appear on the product tables both coming and going each week just find your order, and if you don’t see it call us so we can fill you in.

Bracket Inventory

We are low on z brackets, Durango and Jeep brackets and fender mounts however, material is here and we just setup on z brackets so shipping will continue we may have a slight delay on Durango and Jeeps and those of you needing a fender bracket. Call if you are in a rush so we can work with you.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tank covers are once again sold out.  Amazing response folks truly!  If you have followed along we made the redesign to the cover to fit 2011-2018 Challengers, Chargers and 300’s with no issues on closing your hood.  No need to manufacture several different versions when you actually have the knowledge and skill set to 3d machine parts rather than put a sloppy step in the middle of the cover itself.

We do have all orders covered through March 8th and many went off to color today, and satin covers are shipping. Black and matte black as well as some reds are back and shipping too.

We have a bunch of customers doing custom engraves on those so please be sure to reply to Nick Billet when he provides you your rendering so we can finish your product and have it on the way to you.

We do have material coming in for the next run of these on order and the bars will be here on or before April 9th.  We will be running the 05-10 coolant tank covers at that time with the 11-18 version as well.  Thank you all again for the amazing support.  We absolutely appreciate you.  

Washer Fluid Caps (2005-2010)

Washer fluid caps from 05-10 are still out of stock. We will be making a quick run of those here within the next two weeks to have satin blanks on the shelf by the second week of April, ready to be cut or colored.  

Water Necks (2005-18 Non-Hellcat/Demon)

Water necks for 05-18 non Hellcats and Demons are out of stock and will be running them again in early April. Satin should be ready to ship by the end of the second week of April.  Will have a better idea on when exactly we can put those on late next week as we wrap up a current job on one of our turning centers and prepare to put those on.  

3mm Spacers

3mm Spacers will be running early April and shipping by the middle of April.  This may change but we should be able to sneak a quick run in prior to getting on to longer running turning work.  If you need these now we can’t ship what we don’t have, so you may need to look at an alternative source until we are able to run them.

Ram & Jeep Fuse Box Covers

Ram and Jeep Fuse Box covers will be cut by the second week of April. We only have a few orders open right now for those and we know for those few it sucks to wait.  We will be running them by the middle of April regardless as Jeep and Truck biz always picks up in the spring for summer show season.  We appreciate you and the patience.  

Sigma Series Caps

Sigma Series radiator caps and supercharger coolant caps will be back on the shelf in satin blanks by the first week of April ready to be cut or colored.  

Valve Covers

Valve Cover material is on order and will be running our full production for 2018 (we will be running tentative 50 sets).  On this run we will be doing a “race” series set.  Breathers will be built into the covers to allow those folks with big builds the ability to release more pressure in the crankcase from the valve cover itself.  We should have the first sets in satin coming off in late April. Colors and polish shortly after.  

Coil Pack Covers

Coil Pack Covers will be running early April. Those machine pretty quickly and with satin ready to go in mid April colors and polish end of April into May.  

All other products we are in good shape and as always we continue to rotate and build just in time on our popular items to keep things moving along.  

Finishes and Plating

As you can see we sent more stuff out to plate today and will be preparing even more things to go out early and mid next week.  The only color we have out still is the purple from March 8th, and we added to that batch today (table is below).  That color will be getting dipped here shortly.  

Lead Times and Car Shows

Please remember once your orders come back from finish please allow us 7-15 days to do any final processes such as assembly, engraving and or both.  

If you need us to ship your can or anything else quicker please let us know this in the comments or call us. This may be to make a special event or you will not be in town and want your items before you leave.  We will do all we can to accommodate  you.
