Manufacturing Update March 22, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. First, and always, a BIG thank you for all your support, and trust. Thank you for your patience last week as we did not get an update out to you guys.

Our team was stretched thin, and we needed to keep our focus on banging out the massive amount of orders that came back in from finishes over the past two weeks. We thank you for that.

Color Batches Back from Finish

We received the octane red, blue, and matte blue, anodize back, along with the white, and yellow powder coating. Check the tables below for your order number, to see if it’s back.

Batch Statuses

We currently are working on wrapping up the following finishes that came back in to us over the past couple of weeks:

• Standard Red
• Standard Black
• Matte Black
• Matte Red
• Purple and Matte Purple
• B5 Blue
• Octane Red

We have shipped most of the stand alone catch cans on the purple and matte purple. Some have custom engravings and are in the engrave queue.

Andrea is just wrapping up packaging the black, and red stand alone catch cans. (“Stand Alone” are orders that have no other pieces going with them)

You will see your tracking details, if you have not already, starting to hit your inboxes in the next couple of days.

Most of the B5 Stand alone catch cans have shipped, check your email for tracking details. The exception, again, are the custom engraved cans.

All catch can orders, that have come back in from color, with custom engravings are on deck to be put on machine. The team will knock those out this week.

Batches Still Out for Color

We still have copper and matte copper out at plating from March 1st, as well as the orange, and matte orange from March 11th. We do expect to see those orders back in here before the end of the month.

Color Batches on Deck

Folks we have bundled up racing red metallic, lime green, and plum purple powder coating to head out to be finished.

Why are these not on today’s update?

Simple, they will go late tomorrow, or early Wednesday. We need dipsticks, and low pressure a/c port caps to come off the machine so we can include them in these batches. We will always aim to err on the side of caution, and we do not want to put anything up as “out” until it’s actually, out the door.

If you have an order in for one of those three finishes (racing red metallic, lime green, and plum purple) less the coolant tank, you will see your order heading out of here within the next few days for color. Call us if you need confirmation. We will put up our next update later this week.

We have just started bundling up the following for finishes and these finishes will be heading out to our plater and polisher this week or very early next week at the latest:

• Matte Black
• Standard Black
• Standard Red
• Matte Red
• Clear anodize
• Polish

If you want to call in to confirm your order will be in those bundles please do not hesitate to do so.

‘Old’ Factory Color Matched Orders

Folks we have sent out the remainder of the old orders for factory color match on Destroyer Grey, Jazz Blue, and Sublime. Everything is out with the exception of a few orders less the coolant tanks.

We did run out of those over the holidays. The team is machining them now, but we are almost out of material. We are waiting for more material to arrive, then will pickup again. We have a BUNCH to make. More Details on this below, in the Stock Status’ section.

We will not hold your order as these finishes come back in to us. We will complete what is ready, and ship the partial order to you. This includes our international customers as well.

We know you guys have been waiting a very long time for your color matched orders, and we absolutely promise you will not be disappointed with the end results.

The products are beautiful, and flawlessly done. For those of you who waited, and stuck it out, you are in for a treat.

We really do appreciate you, and thank you for staying the course.

Catch Cans in the Assembly Queue

Folks, we are really backed up in the catch can assembly queue. We have plenty of inventory, as we run these every day of the week, except Sundays. We had a massive flood of orders in satin, and all the colors, as well as product coming back in from finishes. We are really stretched thin.

We are about 12 business days to ship your satin cans.

Please, if you need us to ship your satin can the next business day after ordering do let us know this. If you are placing your order over the phone let the BT Team Member, who is helping you with that phone order know so we can get you built, and out the door the next business day.

If you are placing your order online, please tell us in the order comments section, and we will take care of that for you.

All satin cans through March 15th are clearing assembly now, and heading in for Andrea to package.

Kevin is helping her, so we can get this bottleneck cleared out. Between the satin, and color cans we have had come back in, we have just shy of 400 units left to package.

‘Pending Shipment’ & ‘Ready to Ship’ Statuses

If you see your catch can order has a “Pending Shipment” status, when you log in to your account, it means we have charged the balance as the item is clearing assembly, and heading into packaging.

Please allow 3 days (or so) to get that out the door to you. If it has gone past 3 days call (561.582.6171) or email us.

When you see your order has moved to “Ready To Ship” it means your order will be out the door within one business day and tracking details are going to hit your email box asap.

Stock Status Update

We have started to update the online store’s individual product inventory (availability). As we mentioned earlier, we have just been flooded with orders over the past 2 weeks.

It’s always busy here, but we had our best week ever last week in the history of offering the BT brand. We are extremely humbled, and grateful, that you choose our team, and place your trust in us. Especially with the choices you do have in the market place. Yes, you will wait for our products, but we assure you, we will deliver a top shelf product to you, and support the product long after the sale.

Coolant Tank Covers

Satin machine finish covers, we are bumping out the start to ship date from late March to the second week of April. Color and polish coolant tank covers will ship all through April.

Our material supplier’s saw is down, so our next material drop is delayed until the end of the week. We will finish up the material we have on hand, and resume once our next material drop arrives. We will run more cans in the meantime, but not to worry, this is just a short delay.

ABS Covers

With that said we did sell out of ABS Covers over the weekend. We have targeted the second week of April as the next manufacturing run for that part. We have updated the product availability on the website to reflect this.

We may push that out, but will do all we can to keep that next manufacturing date in line. If we need to change it we will update you guys here in the MFG Updates.

3MM Spacers

3MM Spacers are on the machine now and we will have all back orders shipped by the middle of the week and have inventory on the shelf again moving forward.

By close of business Wednesday we will have the availability on all the products up to date and of course when in doubt call us and we can help you.

Rest assured we will continue to build as needed on all products to keep pace with demands. We will stay within the 4-6 week lead-time for colored and polished parts, and within the 2 week lead-time on machine satin pieces.
