Manufacturing Update March 23, 2015. Spring is here let the mods begging

Folks it been a while since we brought you guys and gals a fresh MFG Update.  Because of you we have been slammed since the holidays, but it was time to come up for some air for a bit and get ya all up to speed.

Your BT Team has been keeping the products up to date on the availability end of things, so when in doubt and your looking at a particular item you can see whats going on right there in the product itself.

Without further delay here is whats shaking at TeamBT to start spring mod season.

Valve Covers

Yes, finally after a lengthy material delay as we waited for drops to come in (supplier pushed delivery on us 4 times), chips are flying on these sets.  After this run we do plan to table the valve covers for a while and take no further orders until we can access this.  We have held firm on price, however its becoming harder to do so.  The reason we have been able to is because we purchase a “drop” or in “drops.”  Essentially we wait for a bigger fish in the pond to buy a large lot of material and we take the leftovers at a particular size.

In any event to spare you the boring details those of ya who have been waiting yes MONTHS the end is in site. We appreciate your patience and thank you for sticking it out.  Only folks who paid via Paypal your dollars were tied up and we had only one person bale and an immediate refund was issued.  Your Billet Tech Team understands that you work hard for your cash and its our fiduciary responsibility to you to make sure we don’t have your cash tied up.  If anyone has any questions please give us a call. We may have 2 sets left off this final run for a while so give us a jingle if you want to reserve your set.  These are by far the best in the industry and you will not be disappointed when you open your box upon delivery of these sets of automotive jewelry.

Coil Pack Covers

As is the normal routine here when we run valve covers we also run another round of coil pack covers.  This is no exception.  In fact we have run 3 rounds of coil pack covers prior in anticipation of receiving our valve cover material only to have delivery bumped. This time we will have enough coil packs to match left over sets of valve covers.  Please call if you have any questions at all or you can email us too.

Fuse Box Covers

We are moving a lot of fuse box covers lately and on a very stead basis.  This product usually went in “spurts” but its just been non stop since the holidays. We are sold out on all covers for every year vehicle with the exception of the 2006-2010 Jeep SRT covers.  We will be fully stocked again by mid April and delivery will start to take place in satin in early April with color and polish about 2-3 weeks after.

2005-2007 Group Buy Fuse Box Cover run we will begin delivery for you starting in late March and all through April until completed.  Lots of customs on this run.  This group buy closes on March 31st and we made the target numbers the day we released it again in fact within 20 minutes so thank you for that.  As always even on a group buy no dollars changed hands (unless you paid with Paypal please see our article on how you paid for your order or your invoice copy) and cash will be collected on the day your cover is ready to go. We do group buys different here at BT we don’t collect up front.

Catch Cans all styles including clear cans and breather overflow cans

Please pay very close attention to the lead-time info on the website satin orders may have a 2 week lead-time to ship even with the cans in stock.  Catch cans are continually running here at the shop we have a dedicated machine for this now simply based on our customer demand and the demand by our vendor partners as well as our private label business.  Most color and polish are staying right on point at 20 business days or sooner all colors all finishes.

Sigma Series Under Hood Caps

Some orders have been delivered complete and we are wrapping our first true production run on these items.  If you are waiting your items will be to you by early to mid April and our shelves will be stocked in blank to accommodate orders moving forward by mid April at the very latest.

That should wrap it for any of the more pressing concerns on stock status.  All other items are in stock and blanks ready for any final processes such as color and engravings.
