Manufacturing Update March 27, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. First and foremost, we hope everyone is doing well, taking good care, and for those sheltering in place that you are able to find the bright spot in these dark days by having some quality time with your family.

As we have mentioned here over the past two weeks, your BT Team is here with you every step of the way. We know times are uncertain, we all are uncertain right now. Like you, we are going one day at a time together.

Today’s update will be brief, letting you know what has gone out for finish and what has come back. We’ve got a couple of announcements as well as a teaser for this weekend. Ok let’s get started.

Colors In, Colors Out

Yes, we got the blue and matte blue back quickly. We had other work in that batch that was non-automotive which was critical and needed to be completed immediately.

Rest assured folks with copper (all styles), matte red, and black that are still out at plate those batches will be completed next week.

Today we sent out titanium, matte titanium, yellow, and polish to be finished. We should see about a weeks turnaround time on those items also.

Again time lines are subject to change daily due to the national emergency in place across the country at the present time.

Color Batches Scheduled for Next Week

Tuesday, March 30th we will be sending another big round of red anodize out for plating and probably purple and matte purple also. Red is bundled and ready to go out for finish, and we will await the thumbs up from our plater to send out early next week.

Big thanks to our plating and powder coating partners for the continued GREAT WORK during these trying and stressful times.

Inventory Status

We are in good shape on inventory. We are shipping satin catch cans within 7 days, hood shock covers in satin are shipping.

BT Vault Interior items are shipping in satin. Colors are still in regular rotation out to our vendor partners and will remain so as long as they can keep operations going and we can continue to operate.  Several blue interior kits are back and will ship next week.

Folks its one day at a time literally. If anything changes we will notify you here in our updates immediate and via our social media channels.

2019-2020 Ram Truck owners: we have completed our manufacturing run on your fuse box covers for those two years.
