Manufacturing Update May 19, 2023

Good afternoon everyone welcome. First The Team appreciates everyones extra patience as we work to get all the colors not just the factory color match but all colors out and back in to you guys and gals.

Colors In, Colors Out

We have a bunch of stuff that went out and came back in since the last update. The batches of Matte Black and Clear anodize have come back in. The batch of Polish that was sent out on May 15th is back in house as of today.

Batches of Yellow and White have been sent out for powder coat, along with batches of Standard Black and Standard Red anodize going to the plater.

Please have a look at the tables below for more information. If you have any questions or need clarification about your order simply call (561.582.6171) or email us and we will get you up to speed.

Red & Black Batches

Due to the amount of red and black that we currently have to fill we are sending smaller batches out. This will get things cleaned up, while not overwhelming our partners, so we can efficiently get your items done and finished without compromising quality.

Satin Machine Finish

Satin machine finished items ship quick and usually within 7-15 days from date of ordering. All of our items are kept in machine satin blanks.

Custom Colors, Outside of the BT Pallet

Do you want to a custom color we do not offer, and have your own source for powder coating or painting? Then you can purchase our items in satin machine finish, have them colored by your source, and send them back to us to be engraved to your specifications.

Factory Color Match Paint

As far as the paint match goes we have Plum, Octane Red and Frostebite out.

More Octane Red will be back next week. When it arrives we will get that table, with order numbers and details, up asap.

Stock Statuses

Some Inventory Information below;

Fuse Boxes

Fuse boxes are running again right now we have a lot of orders to fill. Refer back to the Manufacturing Update of March 22nd for a listing.

We have started to ship satin machine finished fuse boxes and will continue to do so over the coming weeks as we continue to replenish inventory. Colors will start shipping all though June.

The 2005-2007 Group Buy Fuse Box Covers

We met the minimum quantity. We will keep that up on the site as we have material for 26 covers We had 22 come on board. Once we sell out they will be removed from the website.

Jeep Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

These have been manufactured, satin machine finish started shipping this week, colors will start to ship in June.

ABS Covers

ABS Covers are scheduled to go on for production again the week of May 29th.

Throttle Body Covers (2005-2010 model years)

We sold out last weekend. We will be doing a small batch to complete those orders in June and then the 2005-2010 model years will be retired.

We have limited stock on the 2013-2023 model years which also doubles at the Hellcat Engine bypass valve cover and those too will also be manufactured in June

Coil Pack Covers

We run these on a quarterly basis. The next batch will be manufactured mid-June.

Sigma Series Radiator Caps

These are out of stock. We have 13 backorders. We will get the next run on before the end of the month.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Strut Covers are also sold out. Next MFG June most likely mid June if we can get them in.

TRX, TrackHawk, & Durango Hellcat Thermostat Covers

These water necks sold out a couple days ago. Next manufacturing run will be in June.

Hellcat & Demon Thermostat Housing

These are machined and satin back orders are shipping. Colors all through June.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant Tank Covers are in Manufacturing shipping will begin next month.

Catch Cans

We are shipping satin machine finish catch cans within 3-5 business days from ordering.

Long Lead Times

Folks, we want to address the long lead-times, currently even longer than usual, on some of our items . Since the beginning of the year we have been having problems with two of our four CNC Milling Centers. Taking down 2 of the 4, well that puts us at 50% capacity in the milling department.

It’s been difficult getting electronics and as many of you probably semi keep up with things it’s been extremely difficult in general getting chips, boards etc on the electronic end. This is causing a lot of the disruption.

We are working around it but for instance on the fuse boxes, abs covers and coolant reservoirs those are milling jobs. Same with some of the accessory pieces on the catch can (brackets). We have one machine up and running to do limited jobs, but still need another board is needed to take it back to full capacity operation.

The other machine is still down. We have an ETA for the boards and parts to arrive before the end of the month.

Folks, please be patient. We don’t want to delay any further than what it already is, and we want to get parts in your hands asap. As with all BT items the quality is unmatched in the industry and it will be well worth the wait.

If you need to call in to vent please do. This is why we can only give you an approximate on some of the colors as we get the inventory slowly rebuilt and ready to go out. The Team absolutely appreciates you and your business even knowing of the lead time.
